if the loanees stay then i'd say its just a striker that is needed in the window and Schlupp seems to be the most likely from what i can see. Be surprised if Hughes has the hump - he's 34 and must understand the situation surely.

If I was him I would have the hump, he came in and we won 6 out of 6 games with the team scoring 20 goals and conceding 3. unless his injured I find it a really strange decision to drop him.
I think Powell's trying to see if he can improve the team with Russell, Hughes clearly not the answer in the long term.
Could do with another striker, Sclupp seems a possibility, but he'd come here expecting to start games, something we can't offer unless BWP is injured or he plays out wide.
Hughes wants away ? ... farewell, good luck and don't let the door bang your arse on the way out ... he's gone from Leeds to Scunthorpe to Charlton and has gained a reputation as an argumentative big head along the way .. he's an OK player, not so good as Russell but better than (say) Semedo .. he's 34 and there may well be a few offers for him .. Rochdale? .. Torquay? .. Gillingham ?

Who has said he wants away? Where has he gained this reputation from?
Leeds fans and management held him in very high esteem, Scunthorpe fans never rated him. I think the last thing you could accuse Hughes of being is a trouble maker.
Powell said he wasn't happy about being dropped vs Huddersfield. I'd make him right. We'd won the previous 7 games, he was an integral part of the team in that period and he was dropped for a bloke who hadn't played for how ever long.

Think he's meant to be very passionate doesn't make you a trouble maker
What is it with everyone and expecting the players we JUST signed to be leaving? Morrison's off to Celtic, 34 year old Hughes has the hump because he's been dropped, Evina's off to Orient, Stephens is disappearing off somehwere because he was dropped...due to injury. These players signed in July/August and yet people are adamant that they're off. It's starting to sound like Football Rumours around here
Wouldn't surprise me to be honest. Can't see him ever featuring in the team at this level and it was only really his injury that stopped us selling him in my opinion.

Could be a bigger loss than it seems.
And I mean really unreliable. Even more unreliable than Plaaayer or NLA.
I don't believe that
Should've heard the one I heard from an agent last night about a ref now that was a rumour
Though I didn't realise you had until you mentioned it last week in the Lib!
