Its quite a thing to think that 15 years on our away support here equates almost exactly to the size of home support first game back at the Valley...how far our club has come, I am (hopefully) getting my 8 tomorrow morning, this will be cracking day out

although we did have an away support of 10,000 in 1994 which outstripped our home crowds then...

Many supporters choose to wear replica shirts or other official items of Club clothing, such as scarves, hats, jackets and tracksuits. These can be purchased at either Club Shop, online at fulhamfc.com, or on matchdays at the stadium.
Branded clothing or accessories are often referred to as ‘Club Colours’.
Some supporters only applaud or shout "hurrah" when our team scores a goal. But it is much more sporting to applaud good play by both sets of players, or indeed a fine decision by the officials, even if it is in favour of the visitors.
At times of high excitement one may also throw one's hat in the air, but do be sure to catch it as it falls.
If you are unfamiliar with the players, both teams’ squads are listed on the back page of the matchday programme, which can be purchased inside or outside the stadium for £3.50.
Players are easily identifiable by their unique Squad Number, which remains the same over the course of a season.

Speachless. Does it get more embarrassing than that.

And if one doesnt have a hat.....you may throw your 'syrup' into the air.......make sure you dont catch the wrong one though!!! You could end up looking like a 'right twerp' - aka Fulham supporters...LOL

Yes they are all lads from his School/Football team who go occasionally, he is hoping to convert them to regulars as he has reached an age (18) where he wants to build a group of mates for the future, a bit like I see on here where a lot of you know each other well. As old guys like me drop off at one end, we need new blood to build the support. I think with nearly 3000 tickets still available, the serious people shouldn't have a problem. In fact the way Fulham are going, and looking at the map shown on here we could well go above the 7000 if the demand is there.
Each team consists of a maximum of eleven players (excluding substitutes), one of whom must be the goalkeeper. Competition rules may state a minimum number of players required to constitute a team, which is usually seven. Goalkeepers (Mark Schwarzer wearing number 1) are the only players allowed to play the ball with their hands or arms, provided they do so within the penalty area in front of their own goal. Though there are a variety of positions in which the outfield (non-goalkeeper) players are strategically placed by a coach, these positions are not defined or required by the Laws.
