FORMER Sheffield United and Watford striker Danny Webber is training with Charlton.
The 29-year-old trialled with QPR earlier in the season after his
contract at Portsmouth was not renewed at the end of last season.
Addicks boss Chris Powell said: "We're just having a look, Danny has got a decent pedigree."

Hmmm.
Pay as you play only methinks.
Horrible record with injuries.
He's training with us and for now that's all. Powell can judge if he's on any "scrapheap"
Kermorgant for one...
Giving a trial too means having a look at, as with Parnaby, Youga and probably several others who we don't know about there are some decent players out there looking for clubs who might do a job. Just because you give a car a test drive doesn't mean that you will buy it.
We have an option to take an extra year, but he still has to play a few more games before that option kicks in.
please tell me this isn't one of the 2 wonderful signings (was it you who mentioned we'd make two decent signings in jan)
But I look at 2 things:
1) Powell has probably played against him before - and perhaps found him a difficult opponent.
2) Fits the context of a decent experienced player hungry for another chance.
