He's saying that even if you took advantage of the various offers/discounts the cost of 23 match tickets would still be substantially more than the season ticket price.
Rick has the spreadsheets to prove it which I have read.
The Club and Target 40k group are very careful to keep a differential so as to not undermine the ST base which is very important to the club for a number of reasons.
I am amazed that you read all that into Airman Browns original statement! If I knew what all of the offers were going to be, then deduct the games I know I can't attend, I would be in a better position to know what my best option is. As it is I expect I'll be buying my 23rd years season ticket come next March/April.
One of the reasons that makes me proud being a Charlton fan is how this board looks after us with ticket prices and cheap matchday offers. You hear clubs like Q.P.R who are charging £1000 for a season ticket and the fans are complaining highly because of how expensive the tickets are.
The most we spend on a ticket is £25 for the West Stand. That may sound expensive but we are one of the cheapest out of most clubs in London. Something we feel pretty pretty proud of.
Airman, fair play to you. I can't imagine most clubs who have forums have someone inside the club is connecting with the club supporters and giving valuable feedback. Airman I don't know who you are, so you could be Steven Kavanagh or Richard Murray but Thank You very much for taking your time and giving us some information that we may have questions for.
we have 70+ kids comming from junior reds fc, charlton have been kind enough to give these to the junior reds. junior reds fc are also being presented with the charter standard award on the pitch at half time its the 4th year in a row the club have won this.
i hope its a massive attendance as it will be the first time a lot of the kids have been to a football match.hope to get them all back there in the new year.
Well done to the Junior Reds and all their committed coaches .

Glad to hear it. It's just because the Club don't want to lose ST holders like you that they keep the differentials large. Not all the offers for the season will have been finalised yet but the touchstone is always the comparison between a ST and 23 match tickets including offers. Any proposed discounts are costed out with this in mind.
I think the club should take great credit for this. Everyone is feeling the pinch and with Christmas almost on top of this match I think it's a great idea to maintain the impetus and fill the ground. Almost a year since taking over and this board have not put a foot wrong. Charlton are a club to be rightly proud of these days.

Airman is Rick Everitt. Happy to say as it's not a secret.
Gotta say the club is bang on when they come to the £10 deals ect.
Like the FA Cup games, they seem to know more then most clubs about how the pricing structure should be. They do know what CAFC fans are willing to pay home and away. I think we have seen this in the last 10 years when teams in lower leagues than us have not agreed with us to have the tickets prices lower in hope that they will make more money, but in not listening to CAFC i really do think they have received less then they would if CAFC would have set the prices that we wanted.
Got 8 last week...piss up in Blackheath first so not sure we will make the game. Three Charlton supporters in the party, they are all treating me for Christmas. They seem to think that having no job, your marriage breaking up and losing your house in 2011 is justification. Just grateful for good mates !
Warsaw v Dag & Red tonight in FA Cup replay.........
£22 A TICKET !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done CAFC again for the hard work behind the scenes, and let's have a final push to get a few extras to come along on Saturday.
Players like Green, Taylor, Wiggy, Pritchard, Hollands, etc will hopefully be playing in front of 20000 on the Saturday before Xmas, and thinking about gates of 25000+ in the Championship next year and a fantastic Valley atmosphere.
Only US SUPPORTERS can make this happen, so bring a friend along on Saturday if you can.
Without having read all comments, I love it when the ground is full and the atmosphere is rocking. I loved walking up the road after the last discounted match and hearing two blokes saying they would be getting half season tickets because we were playing really well and it was a good deal.
I fecking love the thought of over 20k every week watching us beat Boro and Birmingham and Watford and Leeds and Bolton next season. Come On! Where's the 12th man, lets be avin yaaaaaaaa...... hic!

I thought Henry was Rick Everitt?
Isn't Airman the stadium announcer?
I'm sure Ketman and BDL are something to do with security on match days.

They're playing Southend tonight in the FA Cup.
Couple of injuires and suspensions wouldn't be a bad thing.
What a top guy!
