When we played Fulham at home some years ago, an evening match 1-1 I think, I was waiting on the London bound platform at Charlton station (letting the Greenwich one go, to catch the Lewisham one). I had my very young son in tow holding my hand, we were both simply standing there quietly, and some Fulham fans started giving us verbals, including to my little boy, in my face and all, when they got on their train, their acne covered faces leered and gurned at us, while they flicked V's and wanker signs at us both. Incomprehensible actually.
I also remember an away game at Fulham many years ago in the days before segregation, when a Fulham fan chose to stand next to a (very quiet) me, and continue to hector me about how chite Charlton are/were and how great Fulham were/are, he nearly had a heart attack when we equalised in another routine 1-1 draw.
Now I am sure there are Fulham fans out there who can equally describe incidents at the hands of Charlton fans. However despite them being a decent enough club, with a really enjoyable away ground for us to visit, and an easy journey, I have always percieved them as small minded and pathetic, not happy in their own skin, and obsessed by what they're not rather than celebrating what they are.
I think we will lose the game, but deep down I would really enjoy winning.
What other games do we think will make the box. I think we have a good chance seeing as it's a London derby, but I think Leicester v Forest will get it over us as they have a fiercer rivalry.

2 years ago, when we didn't have a 3rd round game, I went to Fulham vs Swindon. The ground was almost but not quite full, and the away fans were allocated the entire stand, which is usually the 'neutral' stand. It looked like it could hold around 3,500, so thats probably the number of tickets we'll get allocated.

Looks like half of us who were there yesterday are going to be disappointed not getting a ticket then!
Under the rules of the competition we are entitled to 15% of the 27500 capacity of Craven Cottage subject to security segregation which equates 4125..............interesting to see if we are offered more! Over to you Airman!
I go to Fulham vs. Everton every year so I'm a bit disappointed to not have a different stadium to go to. Every year the Everton fans fill up their allocation and fill the neutral stand, with the odd American here and there supporting Howard, Dempsey and whoever else Fulham have dragged in from America that year. Fulham are consistently outsung by the Everton fans, even when Fulham score. I imagine we'll do the same. The outsinging I mean, not so much the scoring
Fulham have always had a problem with cup attendances, including their euro home games. Much like ourselves they have a huge amount of Prem Neutrals who attend.
We will get the whole end no probs as they will be desperate for the cash. The only thing I can think of may be our FIO's putting their foot down.
I seem to be in a small minority. I think we are massively underestimating this team. They are two divisions above us and they have many squad players that I would expect to walk into our first team and we probably have none that would make their bench.
Fulham are a nothing club in the Premier League due to, initially, massive investment from al Fayed, and then successive seasons of the Sky TV money. I hate them, but we need to remember that the gulf between the Premier League and the rest is so big now that we can't, realistically, expect anything other than a convincing defeat.
With the FA Cup being so far down the list of priorities of the likes of Fulham fans, and with the reduced ticket prices I doubt we will make much money either.
I'd love to have the confidence that some on here have, but thinking that we can go toe to toe with a team that was in a European Cup final a coule of seasons ago is, in my view, a little too optimistic.
Worst of all is that it gives them a chance to laud over us the fact that they are two divisions above us and have players that are worth more than our whole squad.
KHA I don't get too much of a vibe here that we think we will win or draw over there, what I do feel is that we have nothing to lose, any kind of defeat is expected, but if we get lucky we can enjoy a good old knees up.
Didn't enjoy lunch or the wine that accompanied it then kings hill addick? Chill out, lighten up its the FA Cup we are the underdogs nothing to lose.......... this our Cup Final COYR!
