Look around on some review websites - it's hardly the most helpful answer, I know! It's the best bet to see what has which features and so on; however if you're looking for basic protection just go with one of the free options. A lot of computer security stuff is common sense; regarding updates, downloads and so on..

This. I have Kaspersky on my main PC, my laptop and my girlfriends laptop. I know there's an Android version, but I've yet to bother with that. That said, I am one of those freaks who feels some kind of paranoid requirement to have everything as secure as possible! (Spybot (w/ Registry Protection) + Kaspersky seems to fulfill most of my requirements though!)

Is the free AVG any good.Looked on there site and there's quite a bit the free one don't protect you from.
