Lets see if we can get this going. Recently (as you can see by my picture) I bumped into Solly and Waggy on a night out. This thread will be for any of us that spot a player or staff member out and about. You dont need to get a picture, just mention who it was. I will go first.

Yesterday, i was at Lals kebab shop in Eltham (yeah yeah fat b*stard i know) and also in Lals was Erol Umut, our physio. Ordered quite a lot :-0 !!!!

I've got a 5 day free pass to use at the Nuffield Health Centre in Farringdon, which is apparently where Simon Webster works - going there next week so I'll be back on here then hopefuly. I presume former players count as well?

We had Yann on the train the other day. Ive seen Gary Nelson outside the players entrance on a matchday.

Mind you, no smart arses naming all the players on a matchday!

Really nice guy and he took in my shirt to be signed the year he missed that penalty.

Bizarrely, I was dragged into Dorothy Perkins in Hitchin by the Mrs, and bumped into Gary Doherty.

It was about 2.40pm a few Saturdays ago (day we won 4-0 away to Carlisle). I had literally just seen on the CAFC Twitter the confirmed line-up so was going to show him and confirm to him he wasn't playing... didn't think he'd appreciate it though!

Saw Johnnie Jackson and Jon Fortune in Nandos two hours before Hudders game, both seemed nice guys and JJ was pretty sure he is out only for a few weeks!

I'm guessing that if he was in Hitchin 20 minutes before kickoff, he was fairly sure he wasn't playing.

May have posted this elsewhere, but I saw Shaun Bartlett at Victoria station once. Went over and told him I was a Charlton fan. He cracked up laughing. Not quite the reaction I was expecting.

Met Scott Minto and Stuart Balmer in Zens many moons ago. Remember having a chat with both and seemed like nice fellas. Seem to remember Scotts missus was a bit of a stunner. Bumped into Sharon Ambrose in the local Sainsburys whilst he was playing for us and nearly walked into Garry Nelson on the way to work a few weeks ago in the city. Not a charlton player but remember when I used to work on the fish counter at Sainsburys about 20 years ago and served Kenny Sansom a load of Tiger Prawns.
