missed the last home game but certainly the one before that i saw it looked as though the Green and kermit introduction had messed the balance of the team but fair play to CP, he's stuck with it and we seem to have gone up a gear as a result so i'm going to plump for a 3-1 home victory.
This has potential banana skin written all over it but I'm doing my best to help out by bringing along the "lucky charm" who has a 100% win rate this season.
Brown has too many old geezers hanging around in defence. Carlisle should stick to Countdown or counting his money and Alexander should get his arse back to Greece to help prop up the Euro ...... CAFC 2 v PNE 0
From the PNE OS On the injury front, PNE boss Brown will be without the services of strike force Jamie Proctor, Iain Hume and Neil Mellor, with Juvhel Tsoumou expected to lead the line against the league leaders.
Goalkeeper Iain Turner has also been ruled out with a foot injury, with Arestidou expected to step in between the sticks.
"Jamie had an operation on Tuesday and we will find out how that went in the next couple of weeks and see when he can start running and moving.
"Neil Mellor and Iain Hume won't be back for the weekend, they are both making a good progress and their rehabilitation is going well.
"Iain Turner has fractured his foot, any injury to any player is a nightmare but injuries to players in key positions are turning out to be a problem."
Apparently clarke and russell had a punch up in training there keeper turner was in the way of the brawl that's how he ended with a broken foot on pne forum
This is a pivotal game, PNE are a good side and have a big need to turn things round, we are playing well and expecting a bigger crowd today, old Charlton would loose this one, so if we win well I see this as proof of the new Charlton.
I really think that soon we will hit a really BIG scoreline against someone....6-1 reds - PNE to score first, but that just angers the team who put on a stunning display to send shockwaves scross the rest of the division.....mellor - thne bwp (3), green (2), and taylor from a corner to finish.

Darrell Russell, Clarke Carlisle and ???Devine
@OllyDawes @helen_xxxx @ObsidianPNE Carlisle, Russel and Devine aren't traveling to Charlton as well apparently
I think we will win (every game is tight really) and Bradley and Kermit will score.
sounds as if they will struggle to put a team together what with the injuries and bust ups.
4-0 as we seem to be liking that score line as of late.
PNE's prep for this game could only be enhanced if a meteorite hit their bus on the M6.
If we get an early goal it could be a rout but they will probably park the bus and wait for the fans to get restless (as they know we do)
Us fans have a part to play today I suspect
2-0 to the reds.
