Out of contract, back in France but if fit I'd love to see him alongside Morro in the Championship. CP must know him. We can pay more than most French sides. Tall, fast and good on the ball. Young enough to keep improving.
Yeah forget him. Supposedly still on the books, and is in regular contact with the club regarding his return but I cant see it happening. And even if he does he won't be the same player. I remember hanging on to Gary Rowett for ages before accepting it was over. Shame with Youga because he could have been great for us, but as I say time to let go.
Grade 1 tosser hope he never dons the hallowed shirt again had every opportunity to be a class player for us and treated every single one of us fans with contempt
Those who want him back , he is not worth your admiration

"when you're happy and you know it, and you really want to show it ......"
Yougas consistent injury was highly debatable not the original one that was never in doubt and at a time when we were skint refused to play even though the clubs doctors said he was fit , so did another independent specialist,
He had his own French doctor who said he wasn't ,
Yoga still took a 500 quid pay rise per week that season to just sit in france and do nothing
I belive it put him in the top 3 earners at the club,

Rowett was crocked when he came to us, 3.5 mill from a club on the point of administartion with a history of knee problems must make him one of the worst signings ever.
NLA, if he was feigning injury just for money, wouldn't he be playing now he is out of contract? I believe a previous thread concluded he'd been mis-diagnosed. I still believe he'd be a great centre half if fit.
I go with what I was told mate , he was fit according to our medical team, he was a good player a real good player
But didn't want to play for us and chose An easy excuse whilst still taking an extra 2k a month for sitting on his arse at a time when we were close to being right up shite street
Was the most positionally kamikaze of every single one of our players I've ever seen. Mouta made mistakes, Youga just left cavernous space to fuck everyone else up. He would have been an utterly atrocious centre half. Yes he improved in league one, and could be great to watch at times. But how many good wingers are there in league one?
Watch any goal conceded in our last champ season when Youga played, and he's either chugging back twenty yards behind the action or nowhere to be seen in the camera shot. Lord knows how many goals came down that left hand-side. Shame he got injured after Parky worked like a dog on his positioning, but if we want to head towards the champ I have no worries about him not being in the squad.

He deserves none of your admiration
Sorry but you've got this wrong.
He said he was injured, our medics said he was fine. He went to France and they said he was injured, we said he was fine.
He played in a reserves match and buggered his knee even further.
The French medics maintained that it was related to the first injury and he never should have played, our medics claimed that it was a totally fresh injury.
But then our medics decided he could go to France and have the treatment he asked for in the first place.
not sure why there seems to be mention here of him being a decent centre back
.. he wasn't
He was an average left back who wouldn't get in our team now
Enough nostalgia ... move along now there's nothing to see
Not even sure I'd rate him as average. Never impressed me in any of the games he played for us in the Championship. Didn't see much of him in League One but he may just have found his level there but I don't think Wiggins would be sweating too much if Youga was still in the squad.

Is a much more yoga friendly way to look at it I must admit,
However was not what I was told from someone who was very involved at cafc at all levels
So I stick to what I was told until that person tells me that they got it wrong
Not disbelieveing what u say at all as there are always 2 sides to a story
The facts of the events are actually very similar in both versions its the interpretation that is different.
Up until the start of this season I would have wanted us to take a punt on Youga returning , now with Wiggins and Evina he would not get anywhere near the left back slot as others have suggested maybe he could return as a left footed centre back , he certainly is tall enough .
But it looks like he has now gone , I will be interested where he ends up , I suspect it will be back in France.
proberly somewhere in the middle of both versions i reckon, i am very quick to judge just my personality, but i also have faith in what i am told which sometimes is good others is bad

youga was utter dross and was a part of our wankyness as we slid to oblivion
he had half a dozen decent games in league one and the usual crap gets spouted that he's the greatest thing since sliced bread
i'm happy with our welsh ashley cole
