I have been wondering for a while what West Ham will turn up at our place on the 24th. The more I think about it the more I am convinced he'll be coming to our place play 4-5-1 and play for the 0-0 it's the Curbs way..!
you know west ham are due a win and we're a good team to play to help stop teams bad runs ...boro hadn't won away for years forest hadn't won for a month etc
[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]I too don't like all this premature gloating at the predicament Curbs finds himself in.
Curbs is a tough cookie and if anyone is going to sort the Hamsters out it is him.
I just hope that Pards instills even more resolve into our boys as this game will not be easy.
Well I love it. It's payback for all the crap I have had to endure over the past 3 years or so. Short memory? No. I have always acknowledged what Curbs did for us. He went on too long though.
It's all about now and the future, not the past. The future's bright, the future's PARDEW!

Oh how true Morts. I think that we will do well not to lose this particular game!!

Not by insisting on started the waste of space relegation specialist quashie he won't!!! Some of his team selections are baffling beyond belief.
Agent Curbs perhaps Mortain? ;-)
I'll always be grateful for what he did for this club and where he Murray and Varney dragged us from but the 24th is all about Charlton and AC is no longer Charlton IMO.
[cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]ALAN PARDEW'S RED AND WHITE ARMY! *Repeat to fade*
While it will be right and fitting to give Curbs a clap when he walks out IMHO it's essential to send a message to the team and Pardew that king is dead, long live the King
The match is all about Charlton now and the future, and as much as I've got respect for Curbs, it's goign to be left for another time, we need to win, and he's just another manager
Reo-coker is suspended, shame really as he's turning back into his old self.
Tevez simply has to start, we look so much more dangeous with him on the field. Still livid he wasn't given the penalty at the weekend, once (if) he scores he'll settle down a bit more and will play his natural game, he's a little too desperate for that first goal.
Not sure if this has been covered but Curbs got an absolute pasting in the Mirror yesterday. Reminded me of when the knives were out for Les Reed.
Also as we know reo-coker is suspended, apparently so is Spector as well, and with upson, neill and gabbidon all injured and konch out of favour don't know what their back 4 will look like.

"Super, Super Al..."
Any proof to back this claim up rothko???
I haven't seen any evidence that he is since he came to us.
