    Sullivan: 5/10 - Actually made a pretty good save in the build-up to their first goal, didn't do a whole lot wrong. Decent cover for Hamer IMO.
    Hughes: 2/10 - What can you say, didn't put a foot right all game, the fact that he has over 600 professional appearances makes it even worse.
    Taylor:   5/10 - Not his greatest game but with the shambles going on around him you can't really blame him.
    Doherty: 3/10 - Marginally better than Hughes, but then again maybe not.  Looking forward to seeing the back of him ('cause the front is enough to make you want to vomit).
    Evina:   6/10 - MotM - Pacey, made some intelligent runs, and linked up play particularly well with Jackson.  Kept a cool head among the rabble surrounding him.  Exciting prospect.
    Green:  5.5/10 - Some decent dribbles down the right, showed glimpses of his shooting and crossing ability as well as his knack for making space for himself on the pitch.
    Mikel:    4/10 - Gave away the pen and had a shocker of a first half.  However he does have a nice passing range and an eye for the game.  Should come good.
    Stephens: 5/10 - Off the pace, works better with someone confident and industrious alongside him.
    JJ:       4.5/10 - Very quiet game by his high standards and clearly not up for a sustained run in the JPT.  Roll on Saturday.
    Hayes:  5/10 - Several neat flicks and touches but cut an isolated figure up front.
    Waggy:  4/10 - Spent most of the match moaning and should definitely now make way for Green.

    Morrison: 5.5/10 - The best defender we have at the club, shored up the defense when he came on.
    Euell:      4.5/10 - Not much he could do to turn around the result, however he provides inadequate cover for any position he is selected for.
    Kermit:    5.5/10 - Something about this lad excites you every time he gets on the ball.  Pushing Hayes very hard for a first team spot.

    On the whole, we should take a deep breath and remember that in the long-term this result is probably for the best in terms of our pursuit of the league.  In the short-term it gives us a reality check and reminds us not to take our foot off the gas or take any team lightly.

    Although this team did not perform on the night we actually do have some decent cover for positions including Waggy, Cort, Evina, Alonso and Kermit/Hayes. 

    Looking forward to this Saturday.

    Sullivan - 6 - Couldn't really blame him for any of the goals
    Hughes - 5 - Think Solly's place is safe.  Works hard though
    Taylor - 5.5 - Looked out of sorts alongside Doherty. 
    Doherty - 5 - Guy just doesn't give me confidence.
    Evina - 7 - Best player for us today. Caught for pace a couple of times but intercepted a few good balls and looked comfortable going forward. MOM
    Green - 6 - I like his turn of pace, but didn't use the ball enough to great affect. Although noone to aim for when he did get the ball.
    Mikel (Alonso) - 5/6 - First half 5 second half 6 as i think he started to settle in the second half. Still off pace. Needs more game time or at least a couple as sub.
    Stephens - 6.5 - He looks a lot better alongside Hollands
    Jackson - 6 - Very quiet game.
    Hayes - 6 - Just didn't get the ball. Pointless playing up front with someone who is not a natural striker.
    Wagstaff - 5.5 - Not a striker. Although his strike in the second half was cracking.
     
    Morrison - 6 - Better of the 3 centre backs.
    Euell - 6 - Not the player he was. Couple of good passes, but no pace.
    Kermorgant - 6 - Could have been good with lob and won a few headers. Shocking free kick though :-)
     
    Overall, disappointed with performance, but not overly bothered.

    Doherty 4.5 -(soooo slow, poor clearance for 1st/early goal)

    Evina 6.5 (cafc motm. he looked composed on ball and offered real pace down the left side)

    Green 6 (beat his man a few times, overall ok performance)

    Mikel (Alonso) 5- gave up pen after turnover inside own18, decent passing range

    Hayes - 5 - (grew tired of his multiple failed fancy flicks, when we really needed to settle the ball)

    Hughes 4 Disappointing is the only word I can use for him.
    Taylor 5 Doc not a good partner for him
    Doherty 4.5 past it I reckon... I like him but I can't stick up for him on this occasion.
    Evina 6.5 MOM not at Wiggin's standards yet but he'll get there.
    Green 5 One good free kick... not a lot right, not a lot wrong. Silly booking as well.
    Mikel (Alonso) 6 the abuse he received makes me dislike cafc fans. Wasn't great first half but you have to give credit were it's due. Passing was quality 70% of the time. The bloke next to me was having a go at him as he walked out the tunnel in the first half!!!!!
    Stephens 5 Non existant really.Jackson5 same as Stephens. 
    Hayes 6.5 couldn't do a lot but he tried.
    Wagstaff 6 Victim of poor reffing decisions most of the time. Dealt with it well.... he tried. Best shot of the game.
    Morrison 6 Best CB on the night.
    Euell 4.5 He was a ghost in the centre
    Kermorgant 5.5 couldn't really do a lot to be fair

    Doherty was awful, earlier today someone texted me that Luton were in for him and i said he was too good for that level, he's not good enough on this performance.

    Hughes, well we were told he was all heart no skill and they were right, although not sure about the heart.

    Alonso poor, but he is not match fit - Powell error in selection, should have been on the bench and get 30 minutes at the end.  Some signs that if he gets fit could be good.  A zero mark is daft,he was better than Doherty and at least as good as Hughes, but that is not saying much.

    Powell selection and set up poor, oh wellconcentrate on the league and FA Cup - someone has to win it, why not us!!

    Sullivan 6 nothing he could do about any of the goals and was unlucky with the 1st goal

    Hughes 4 looks well past it and doesn't offer anything at all to the team 

    Doherty 3 The worst player so far in any league this season. Should be released and retire before it gets any worse for him

    Taylor 5.5 not his usual best but was playing with Doherty

    Evina 6 Looked O.k but struggled to deal with Weston

    Green 6.5 (MOTM) only player that looked good going forward all game and was unlucky with his free kick

    Alonso 5.5 saw flashes of potential but overall of the boil

    Stephens 6 had nothing to work with but did a decent job

    Jackson 5.5 nothing special and the game sort of past him by

    Hayes 5 I think he'll loose his spot to Kermit. To be fair to him he lacked service but why did he volley that chance rather than be composed?

    Wagstaff 5.5 ran around with out great effect until his shot at the end. Him and Hayes don't go together


    Morrison 5.5 

    Euell 4.5 never noticed him and I think it was a wrong choice to bring him back

    Kermit 5.5 thinks he's Cantona but does look good and did more than Hayes

    Hughes 1 Shit in every aspect of the game.  Defending, distribution, positioning was dismal.  Come back Franny, all is forgiven
    Evina 6.5 Great driving runs forward, but a bit suspect defensively. 
    Doherty 4 - Tried hard, but the comedy centre of most of our woes
    Taylor 5 - Started the horror off with a weak defensive header and didn't get much better
    Green 4 Good free kick, but otherwise no threat, petulant and generally shite.
    Stephens 5 actually forgot he was playing
    Alonso
    3 None of the fraternal magic has rubbed off.  Pathetic challenge for the pen and offered little to nothing else
    Jacko 4 No idea where he was supposed to be  playing, but ineffective wherever it was.
    Hayes 4 Tried hard, but shite.  Kermy will have the start on Saturday, no doubt.
    wagstaff 5.5 Some awful passing, but worked hard and was one of our few threats.  Dr Evil the lino did him few favours. 
    Euell 5 odd good position, but offered little
    Kerm 5.5 Added a bit of strength, but didn't get into it.

    The key players who only played because of the "6 first team" ruling, gave the impression of being involved as minimally as they could get away with. Alternatively, the manager's instructions may have been something like, for example - don't do anything rash, don't pick up a card, don't get injured.
