  • Saw Pentangle at RFH last night - fantastic. I can't encourage you enough to try and see them while you can... this would appeal to anyone who likes folk, jazz, blues or just good (real) music. Many of their songs take you direct to an olde green England that is becoming ever harder to imagine.
    I imagine they are still a class act  The Fairports, Sandy Denny, and to me Pentangle timeless folk acts. I prefer the music of  John Martyn, and Nick Drake, but yes great bands. 
  • Oysterband are one of my favourites, great band who are excellent live. Also Great Big Sea who are from Newfoundland are a top band.
