Francis, i feel he was a little bit hard done by there is somthing there and would be sad to see him go, oxo, from what i saw last term he just struts around shouting didnt get stuck in didnt pass waste of space parky thought he was a like for like for bailey.
Francis by a mile, showed signs last season there is a good player there and will thrive elsewhere imho. Has weaknesses but will be an asset for Bournemouth
McCormack is one of the most limited players I have seen and the fact he bottles so many challenges when supposidly a "tough tackling midfielder" sums it up for me.
My Personal Opinion is that Francis may be more suited to a Right Midfield Role as he honestly cant defend! His seems a good guy no matter what anyone says about him (myself included) he does try every game. Its his defending ability that let him down as he is supossedly a defender!
I'm going to say McCormack, as he has less chance of playing given the amount of midfielders we have, and therefore he may as well not be here
Tactical thinking - I like it !!
Francis for me, I wonder what sort of reception they'd both get if they returned to the Valley with new teams. For me, as stated elsewhere, I think Francis was a limited player who tried. It's not his fault that he isn't up to the standards Chrissy's trying to reach with the new squad. He's good enough for this league, but we need to be better than that to get out. McCormack on the other hand was a shocking player, who didn't seem to try (bottling challenges etc) but on top of that he didn't care about the club, the fans or his manager.
Francis would be a very decent cover at right-back, and despite me moaning as much as anyone, I think he is still a ood squad player. Although it seems as if he's set to join Bournemouth now.
We've not seen the best of either of them. Neither are suited to us, can't seem to handle the pressure. Couldn't see either of them in a good footballing side either which is what we are hoping to become.
Move to a smaller club, take that pressure away, get their confidence back and they'll do a job for someone in this league or the one below. They've both done it before. I really doubt there's a huge gap when it comes to ability between them and I'm not convinced McCormack wasn't trying. He was clearly scared of making mistakes though and that can make any player look awful.
se9 asks what sort of reception they'd get if they returned with another club - personally, I wouldn't boo... I would treat them as if they were just another opposition player. They're not Charlton legends (by a long chalk), but they're also not Jimmy Floyd Piggybank!

Agreed.
No brainer really.
Not the case. McOxo confirmed on twitter he has been told to find another club. Talking to DandR and a couple of others.

Also he's never been out to dinner after a defeat (to the best of my knowledge)

Francis.
Not ovely endowed with ability maybe but he doesn't hide and gives his best which is all you can really ask as a fan.
Lisbie lisbie you're a £unt... was one of my most favourites of latter years. sigh.
I'll go with McCormack so that he can rot in the stands.
