Every estate agent I've ever dealt with appears to be utterly incompetent. I know it's fashionable to bash them but honestly it's like they take all the dumbest people and put them in one occupation.
I've had my house on the market a month (I dont live in it). I phoned them yesterday to ask how the progress was (as I hadnt received a single of my promised weekly phone calls) and they said that none of the viewings has progressed as they didnt have keys to the property and they didnt have a contact number for the tenant.
Fair enough but amazingly none of them thought it might be a good idea to call me and ask me for his number, or for a copy of the key. For a whole month! With people actually wanting to view it!!!
Incredibly level of incompetance.
So if anyone does know of a good and reasonably priced Kent based estate agent I'd love to know about them.
