I'm not saying it should be either, just interested to know how it all fits together?

After the initial "off the cuff" videos and when I started to develop CHOICE Tv, it was always the intention to provide something different for ex pats and people who couldn't get to games as well as the fans that did go. Something different that enabled those people to feel close to the club and experience the excitement and disappointment that we felt as fans attending the games. It was about passion and real emotion, for everyone to have their say whether it was positive or negative - thats what football is all about...the fans and opinions, not glossed over censored debate. The whole CHOICE Tv concept has grown naturally because its been driven by the fans, it was never intended in the first place..it just happened after I documented freak weather at a football game.

As far as how it fits together, of course people will draw their own conclusions that we are trying to rival other services but that isnt the case because theres nothing out there to rival, because what we are planning simply doesn't exist. Throughout last summer and for the first 6 months of this season I put forward a lot of ideas to the club and charlton live to improve the media content and give people what they wanted - (fortunately) those ideas were never developed and in the end I grew frustrated so it was agreed that we part company because my heart was in developing my CHOICE Tv project.

This new website now gives us the platform to bring those ideas to life and to make supporting Charlton the best possible online experience.

My only comment for having watched the videos is please remember my ears and eyes when you celebrate a good goal!

Like i said we have spoken to lawyers about all of this and are keeping everything legal so the videos are going to cease in their current form. We are aware of the language issue and that includes people around us but have a system in place to combat that.

[cite]Posted By: paulsturgess[/cite]That Yeovil was excellent, really managed to capture the feeling / vibe of that day.

yes his video of the team leaving the Dagenham pitch really captured everything in full glory too.
    Lovely vibe.

thats the reality when things arnt going well just like the celebrations when things are going well. its real emotion not fake

people who wernt there would want to know what it was like

Censored debate... you deleted my comments on your Facebook page about grown men booing on the Dagenham video? If that's not censored i dont know what is.

your individual comments wernt deleted, the whole thread was deleted. i do that after every debate has concluded after a few days

for the record - its good to have negative comments as well as positive regarding any aspect of the match, so your comment was appreciated as that was your opinion and it fuelled further debate about the treatment of the players. Thats what its all about

I understand from running my own business that you cant "get" every potential client and you cant please everyone. What I would ask is that you wait and see what we are in the process of creating before making a judgement, people who know me will realise that I never do things half heartedly and iv got the drive to make this a success. Iv got the backing of the right person who approached me and we are 100% confident that this is going to not only raise the profile of the club amongst charlton fans but we want it to be the envy of every other club in the country. It will be something for charlton supporters to be proud of.

At the end of the day we have got the clubs best interests at heart, the supporters will be involved in this project and we have already taken steps to secure the fans input. With it being a social enterprise it will also create opportunitys for people in the local community and like i said it will be free to use and not for profit. We havnt been paid for this and weve put in the hrs developing things out of our own time.

One of the first things we want to tackle is stopping the booing during matches as this new trend has a very bad effect on the players. We need to push on next season and get out of this league and this is something that has to be addressed. Fine to show a degree of displeasure at 90mins when the game is over but during the game is costing us points over the course of a season.
  • Stop clogging up Facebook please Curb_it
  • Choice - look forward to seeing whatever you come up with, have always enjoyed all your vids in the past which really seem to capture the atmosphere better than anything else.

Used to love the 'tit bits' in and around the pubs before games.
  • Are you having a clique and if so can I be in it..?
  • It is apparant that the majority of our fans love your videos, there will always be some who have problems. Trouble makers with nothing better to do. But the whole CHOICE experience is about going to footy. And your videos portray that perfectly. If people don't like booing or swearing, why follow a football club?

Looking forward to more of the same ( if not more!) in the future!
  • Here jarman i pointed out grown men sounded like Wa*kers when booing. But if okay by you Ill still like to follow my club.

I didn't mean that alt all! I meant the jumping up and down and screaming! Which is brilliant as it makes you feel like your there but at the same time makes you feel like you are on a very loud rolllercoaster!
