newcastle he was not the manager, qpr and coventry dont remember him relegating them, both clubs especially qpr had mad goings on behind scenes, think he will do ok at a club soon,we may well have won that league cup with him at the helm.

Lots of ifs, maybe and could haves.
Certainly did get Palace relegated and Cov were on their way when he went as were we.
Yes, I think we would have beaten Wycombe under Dowie but that was only the Quarters. We still have had to beat Chelsea over two legs and then win the final. Long way away from "may well have".
He did well at Oldham, he had a great half season at Palace. Other than that his record as a manager is dismal. I don't know what the opposite of "midas touch" is, but he certainly has it. I don't see how anyone can justify saying that he'll do a good job given time - there is nothing factual to base that on because he's never been given time in any job he's had because he always f#*ks up so quickly.
He spent ridiculous amounts of money on Traore and Faye who had both become running jokes at their previous clubs. He spent more in one summer than Curbs had spent in 3 seasons. Of all the shambolic events of the last few years, letting Billy Davies slip through our fingers in favour of appointing this utter chump has to be the worst mistake of all. Of all the people who have helped to put us where we are now, his contribution was the most harmful. A quick look at what we paid for his pitiful signings (Andy Reid accepted)and what we got back proves my point:
Traore - paid £2m, got half that back 6 months later
Faye - paid £2m, got nothing back
Pouso - 1 years wages for 1 appearance
JFH - £30k a week, contributed zero

Is it near fraggle rock then?
Closing it again now.
Till at least the end of November.
Hold on a minute it must be an April Fools
"The former Northern Ireland international is highly-regarded in coaching circles after leading Crystal Palace to the Premier League in 2004."
What and where are these mystical coaching circles?
as he proved at Hull, Newcastle, Coventry and QPR

Have to admit, I'm not his biggest fan.
No we didn't! See above!
Apologies, yes he did. Wasn't awful and we got our money back.
