Palace have only won 1 away game this season so they will probably struggle at Donny. The two home fixtures they have in Leeds and notts are 6th, 7th, Hull (away) are 8th. Out of them lot realistically I can see them getting 1 or 2pts. Football can be suprising and Palace might do well get a few wins and annoyingly end up safe.
It all depends on how the easter games go, if Hull and Forest have a bad easter then their games v Palace won't mean anything to them and Palace might nick a win
It's a tall order at the moment, without a doubt. However, if Palace fail to win on Friday and one of Preston or Scunny nicks a win this weekend then that puts an entirely different complexion on it. Palace have on paper the toughest last 3 games of the three.
I suppose it depends on which club is more likely to take a promotion/play off place. I would suspect that Palace would bounce back and Scunthorpe to slide down, but that's an opinion judging very much from afar.
This current lot don't have the bottle for a big occasion as we have seen on a number of occasions - Playoffs, JPT, Millwall. We have had enough embarrassment over the last few years, don't want those goons sinking the boot in as well.
1) Getting bored of Orient & Brentford London derbies as the home fans offer no atmosphere whatsoever. 2) There is hardly any exciting teams coming up or down from the north (Preston, Scunthorpe, Bury, Shrewsbury, Chesterfield. ZzZz) 3) It'll be the second biggest game in League 1 next season, a long way behind the Sheffield derby. 4) It's our rival! Who doesn't want a crack at the Nigels? And I believe they'll be severely deflated after seeing what they consider their biggest rivals Brighton, heading in the opposite direction.
[cite]Posted By: Bexley Dan[/cite]would be a nice bonus - that and millwall staying down are the only two things left this season although the latter is far more important.
Oh come on, wouldn't you like to see Millwall get promoted via the play offs and go down with 8 points and a goal difference of -100

So they then get 4 years worth of parachute payments? No thanks!

No no and no because then I can no longer say to my Millwall friends "so you're a league above but you've never been in the prem".
Don't care what happens to Palace. I have some happy memories of our time at Selhurst Park. Didn't like Uncle Ron or the Tango man, but don't hate the club. Now if the Happy Hammers went down, that would really make me happy!

COME ON SCUNNY!
Actually hope Sheff Utd get out of it as they'll be strong next season (unless they do a Wednesday)[/quote]
I live in Sheffield and there's strong rumours up here they are big financial trouble.
Preston will almost certainly be title contenders in league one next season if they do drop.
