I was praying for that last year (as I rightly thought we would get done in the play-offs), but this season it looks as if they will escape - their home form will be enough to keep them up if it can be sustained.
I think that they will probably stay up now as PNE, Sheff U and Scunny are playing like total bollocks - I think that they will just scrape it....it would be nice to have them down here though!
I really hate the term "London Derby" when it's with a team you can't give a monkey's toss about and the only exciting feature is that you can get there on the cheap and be in for dinner after the game... in the PL days it used to be Fulham that got me thinking... this isn't a derby, it's just a match at a local venue... now we've got the likes of Brentford, Orient and Dagenham. Fulham look like Real Madrid in comparison.
No derbies next season... not unless Gillingham keep up their good run ;-)
I thought I didn't really give a toss but then I realised that I always look for both Palace and Millwalls results and feel better when they lose. So it's a yes from me.
I'm certainly not, and as said above our home form should hopefully keep us up, our next two games are both at home, against Derby and Barnsley, both are must win games.
Although it would be nice to meet Charlton again, it really wouldn't be great having Brighton being in a higher division, which it looks like they've pretty much sown up.
As much as I'd love to have someone to challenge for the south london wooden spoon , palace won't go down and we won't go up
so we'll be unchallenged as we claim our place as the lowest team in south london for the 3rd consecutive season
Sad times
I think Scunny, who looked dead and burried not that long ago now have a chance of survival. They've had some great wins recently over Forrest and Sheff Utd. I still expect them to go down with the hopeless PNE & Sheff UTD but don't count them out just yet.
I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in what happens to Palace. Like all Clubs they have a small percentage of nitwits, with the vast number being decent people who love the game. Perhaps its my age, but I prefer to admire the good things that other Clubs have achieved, currently particularly Brighton and Blackpool. As my old granny used to say, negative thoughts produce negative lives, wake up and smell the roses guys.
palace dont really bother me ,dont care what they do ,but millwall thats different ive always seen them as our rivals got some good mates who support them but being honest i absolutely detest them id love to win millions buy them then build houses on the shite hole.

Good sentiments Grandpa. I have no desire to see Palace fail, but I don't want them to be too successful either.
Ideally you want the weakest teams to go down - teams that will pose the least threat to us next season. I would class Palace in that category. So I would like to see them go down but not for sad reasons- just that I think it would be best for us. ALthough I could be wrong.

With Orient going well, we could have only Brentford as a London derby next season.

damn, for once I agree with Goonerhater
I'm with these. Really don't give a toss what they (or any other team) do . Got enough to worry about with our club.
Me too.

Agreed
Have enough problems of our own to worry about
Have never given a toss about them, and not going to start now...

Even when we were "5th" for so long everyone (with half a clue) knew we were wank and the 11th spot came as no surprise :-(
