  • [cite]Posted By: BigRedEvil[/cite]He along with Francis has been poor most of the season, but what did we expect?

They were signed from a Southend team relegated to L2 last season, for nothing

    Precisely.

    Francis cost a fee, 25/30k.
  • Am not on twitter but heard McOxo has deleted his account.

    Anyone confirm this.
  • Yep it's not there anymore.
  • Oxo is very very poor & I will certainly boo him before during & after a game but he doesn't pick the team. Chris Powell does totally unbalancing the team. Whatever anybody thinks of the individual players surely it would have made sense to have Reid playing in his natural position on the wing & Racon playing in his natural position in central midfield.
Or he could play the highly rated Parrot from spurs in central midfield but no lets leave him on the bench.
Problem is everybody claims "this isn't CPs team" & once he's had a pre season & brought in all the players that he wants everything will be ok.
Would this be players like the lump from west ham who looks like a clumsy carl leaburn ( & how many goals in 5 lower league loan spells? ....1 !!!!!!!) who's preferred to Eccleston, an exciting player full of skill & running who's played in Europe for Liverpool this season ? Liverpool see him as a striker of the future, Chris Powell claims that he isn't a striker but a wide man.

I was glad when parkinson went (he never should have got the job in the first place) but would have preferred an experianced man to replace him. Luckily we grabbed 4 wins on the trot with CP which could easily have been 4 defeats. Had they been so we would now be in relegation zone. If that had happened does anybody believe that we would have turned things around to escape relegation ?

chris powell has managed to turn 2 of our best performing players into shadows of what they had been. Scott Wagstaff was our 2nd leading scorer & looked a very dangerous player either supporting the front man or racing down the wing. Now he looks subdued & lacking in confidence. J Jackson had suprised me by looking a very good performer in midfield & of course was our leading scorer. Once CP arrived JJ was playing a much deeper role & at times looked to be a second left back & his attacking flair totally diminished.

On the evidence so far CP has no eye for a player, it would appear little tactical awareness other than lump it forward & grasps at straws with formations. In 2 months we've seen 4-4-2 4-3-3 4-5-1 & back to something resembling 4-4-2. I'm all for consistency but the board have to realise that they have made a monumental mistake of Les Reed proportions.

How many were at the Valley yesterday 9-10000 ? Tells it's own story really, there's only one way this club is going with the present managerial staff!
