[cite]Posted By: Sparrows Lane Lion[/cite]Firstly, why would we want Jackson?
Secondly, why would he overly praise or slag off any team anyway? Camden boy, I presume a yid or gooner, so he doesn't care one jot good or bad about us, Palace or anyone else.
Thirdly, what a wally that palace fan was.
Have to agree with SLL here, Millwall are looking at upper-level CCC players not mid-table L1 players like Jackson.
It hurts but its true to say that none of our players apart from BWP would get into the Millwall side.

We'll always look for decent players in the leagues below, we ain't got the finances to compete with Leicester, Cardiff, Norwich, etc we signed that McQuoid from Bournemouth. Just don't actually think Jackson is particularly special enough to warrant us looking at him especially in our midfield. From what I've seen, and I'll bow to your superior knowledge as you watched them every week, but I preferred Bailey over Jackson.
Jackson is more your thinking man's footballer ...... good touch, neat and tidy, intelligent with good vision.
He was the player who made our midfield tick.
SLL Jackett was interested in Jackson last season , apparently he mentions this in his diary book of last season but Jacko's agent wanted too much money . He is also one of our few players who I think would cut it in the CCC , the downside is he seems to be injury prone .
Jacko is valuable partly because he is a left footer who can play central midfield . Earlier this season you signed Darren Carter and Jason Puncheon because Jackett had identified a lack of lefties in your squad. You were also strongly linked with Peter Leven at MK Dons.
I guess this isn't so much of an issue now you have Bouazza and Townsend but they are both wide players .

Can't recall the Jackson bit from the book. Perhaps he could fill a role then. Bouazza is only on contract until the end of the season and Townsend is on loan, so both are probably not going to be here. Would prefer more pace though.
& if he has a year left and Powell has the summer to improve the team he could well be in the Championship with yourselves next season especially as with BWP you have someone guaranteed to score you goals. The division looks like it may be weaker next season so gives you a better chance.
Jarman - a little tip for you, when you see SLL appear just don't bother reading my post and skip to the next one, will help with your blood pressure.

He's from Holborn, his Dad still lives in the area.

His absence was conspicuous.
SLL. Do one .... please...
"Oh yes, lets find some common ground.
The Charlton fans will be sure to like me with a comment like this!"

Not sure I'd want to sit opposite him, either!!
Is that the crazy palace fan? I found it quite easy to watch - they lost!
You mean the fat ugly Mick Hucknall wanabee lardy helmet bloke?
Fuck me, didn't know whether to laugh or cry - thought it was some sort of parody when I stumbled across it.
Soon realised it was an authentic documentary.
watched it on iplayer.
Not even from the area. Sounded like he had a posh midlands accent. Wolverhampton maybe or Warwick.
I was embarrassed for the other palace fans it was so bad.
