ha, we'll be in one of the play off spots at the end of the season. i'm still confident of that. thankfully this league is totally cack so we still have a good chance
We have no chance of nothing at this rate... losing and winning is a habit ... so unless we swing it around its well over.... I personally think we would have more points with parkinson....
parkinsons record was failure a relegation and a meek loss in the semi finals when we were winning playing ten men,the football was crap and we would be worse than this with him still here. This is not good the football seems the same but what can we do but hope.
that what i just said!!! i love chrissy powell but i think he may have made a big mistake! the players are just not good enough ! and as for reidy if he could cross the ball that would help and francis two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well they swung from winning four in a row to losing four in a row, so where does habit come into it?
We are 13 points off Automatic Promotion AND Relegation. To think that we are not in serious trouble would be an acute case of complacency.
So what's next? Another home game. Crowd? <10k. How long before the first collective groan? 10 mins? Trailing at half time. Go off to Boos.
The level of confidence is desperate. I cannot see how it improves.
If anyone dismisses the idea of relegation this year out of hand then I'd say they were being very foolish.
[cite]Posted By: Richard J[/cite]I'm not being complacent , but on 48 points it would have to be a collapse on major proportions to see us go down with 12 games left .
Still more chance of a sudden turnaround in form and a late, late charge into the play-offs though I could understand people think that is pretty unlikely after the last depressing couple of weeks
We're going to win Saturday, Orient draw at home with Oldham and Colchester will beat MK away, meaning we are back to 7 points off the play offs with 3 games in hand over MK and still have to play Orient at fortress Valley.
No we're not: until it is a mathematical certainty.
If you want a depressing case history, read on:
In the 1977/78 season in Division Two Blackpool started well and were tipped for promotion but faltered away. Despite a 5-2 thumping of Blackburn Rovers, manager Allan Brown was sacked. Brown had been sacked in February, with the club in ninth place and having scored ten goals in their previous two home games.
Blackpool won only one of their final sixteen games and were relegated to Division Three, by one point, for the first time in their 91-year history. In March with five games to go in the season, Blackpool were in what seemed like a safe mid-table position in tenth place and eight points clear of the relegation zone. (Only two points then for a win of course).
Amazingly Millwall won the required six games to keep them up and more results went against Blackpool. The last game of the season pitted Leyton Orient (with one away win all season) away at Cardiff City (unbeaten at home since December). Orient miraculously won 1-0 and sent the Seasiders into the third Division for the first time in their history. They wouldn’t return to the second-tier for 29 years.
Blackpool went down with 37 points from a 22-team league. If you convert our points tally back to 2 points for a win we're currently got 35.

Doesnt look like that judging by results and performances recently does it... or have you got your toungue in your cheek??
In the end he needed to go to freshen things up, improve the atmosphere and take the pressure off the players.
Going off the official site, never. Last time we did Les Reed was in charge.
20 years of struggle, followed by our day in the sun.
Then we get our Charlton back.
;o)

You can prove anything with statistics - it took Parky 24 games before he got his 4th win!
Hopefully we will get them sooner rather than later, so we can start preparing for next season.

If SCP had not won his first four in a row we could have been looking at a different scenario .
Cooey! The Kenco's ready.
