though to be far that's probably a bonus in that we don't have to pay to watch him stroll around the pitch disinterested as he doesn't want to score against his mates like we did a few months ago...
This is now a MASSIVE game, lose and we will really need to start looking over our shoulders as we could find ourselves only 9 points or so above those in the relgation places and with Southampton (twice), Bournemouth and Huddersfield looking like yielding no points I will start to get very nervous indeed.
The Eastbrook is just past the ground on the right if walking up Rainham Road from the station. It is a family pub with a garden and got some pretty good reviews from the Charlton fans that came over for the FA Cup replay in January 2001.
"The Eastbrook, as you said, is a welcoming pub with some decent beer. The prices were more in line with what we pay up here than I expected too!" Mark Griffiths - Wrexham
Just had a message from my Dagenham mate which says :
"(re the Eastbrook) it’s a bit of a shit hole, it’s opposite where I used to live! The Railway is bigger and the Bull is massive with loads of outside space, they are closer to the station but a few mins further from the ground"
QUOTE: not sure at the moment I could be paid to go to this, even with a promise of a lift door to door
This!
Was looking forward to this when the fixtures came out. But now...
Ruin my Saturday, feel unhappy, angry and stressed (and hypocritical clapping a bunch of (mainly) overpriveliged wasters who don't give a toss for the shirt or club)... no thanks.
I'd usually say 'We'll probably win 2-0 now!!", but there's nothing in my imagination that resembles a win - even on the off-chance..

So I reckon we'll probably give the Bull a go.
