Charlton goal - Bartlett's volley or Alex Dyer away to Oxford
Oppo goal - A Stoke player in a midweek cup game at the Valley, left foot rocket from about 35yds
I went to the Liverpool v Arsenal cup final at Cardiff and Owens 2nd goal was pretty special in terms of occassion, timing and quality finish past Seaman.
Charlton - Jensen at Highbury or Melrose from the touchline at Sellout against Man City
Overall - Ronaldinho for Barca at Chelsea in the chumpions' league. Extraordinary.
We've done this before, I think. My nomination was the Berger one - must have sat very near CAFCDan in those days. He was down on the touchline, back to goal, then swivelled and fired it into the net - amazing.
Going back a few years, Morts away at Norwich was pretty special.
Only saw Bartlett's on TV (live match) in a pub in Scotland.

Really? Another player scoring from the touchline?
Must've missed all of these goals from the edge of the pitch!

Well, perhaps I meant he was facing the touchline, having just checked it out on Youtube ;-)
Derek Killer Hales against Hull City at the Valley back in 76 approx when Colin Paddy Powell won the ball by the touchline in our penalty area and went on a fantastic run to their byline and put in a peach of a cross for Killer to smash into the roof of the net on the volley from about 8 yards.

What a goal!
Was also goal of the season - on ITV's Big Match.
But are you sure Paddy won the ball by the touchline? Off-It will be after you...;-)
Mendonca's SECOND V Sunderland at Wembley; the through ball - brilliant; Mendonca's 'stomp' on to the ball to control / set it up - for a pass into the net. Pure and utter class (Just like his first and third - all brilliant!)
Comments
Would've definitely been Giggs though had his chip gone in in the 3-3 amazing
Good call, won the leagues goal of the season if I remember rightly
Brad Friedel at The Valley.
There have been some special goals scored at The Valley in somewhat recent years.. mostly against us, oo also Rooneys wasn't bad ;o)

Against : Van Persie - although he shouldn't actually have been on the pitch at the time, the cheating git.
Missed it due to having a piss.
most spectacular goal is Van Persies against us.
for us id say bartletts

Really? "from the touchline"?
Amazing how the memory plays tricks on you as the years go by. If he wason the touchline then I'm Rueben Agboola!

I was bang in line about 20 yards away at pitch level.

I concur!
