I'm of the younger generation of Addick and the lowest I've witnessed was at Carlisle this season, think it was 313. But a friend of a friend tells me he was at Blackburn v Charlton in 1987 in the full members cup, he said there was him, and another 11 people there!!
Has anyone else witnessed low away attendances like this? Just curious...

saw us away at Barnsley many many years ago and there wasn't many there at all
...just wait for Hartlepool this season
Mind you I didn't do the tin pot cup away games!
i was in the torquay end at the vetchfield with 11 other fans in about 1996.
Had a ticket for the postponement at Hartlepool which we had onl7y sold 140 for according to Airman. Midweek game will be well under 50.
Played at Danson Park a a few years back and no-one was watching (both managers were playing).
;-)
No more than 80 in a stand that holds 6000
I went to this one as well..it was bloody cold..i thought there were more than 16 of us though
by the sounds of it, you will all post on this thread soon.....it'll be another Huddersfield 7-6 where 40,000 claimed to have been there !
Grimsby Away in the (League ?) Cup afew years back.....120.
Well I was there and I'm sure there were more than 16 of us. I've got the video somewhere, I'll try and dig it out and do a count!
I remember asking my pals 'where is everybody'?
There was nothing like getting a coach in the Selhurst/Upton Park days at Well Hall and there was only 1 there, when you'd hope/expect at least 3/4! My heart used to sink!
About 35 twice at Newcastle in 1983 and 1984.
Loads of others around that time at about 60-100 at places like, Oldham, Barnsley, Grimsby, Shrewbury. You used to know ALL of the faces! Even London derbies at Chelsea, Palace, Fulham and QPR, we barely topped 1000. Can remember thinking we had a few at Brighton for the 7-0 defeat...probably about 1200. It was pretty sparce in those days but mind you, we were only getting 4-5k at home! (unless we played Chelsea!)
We had a brilliant night out in Liverpool celebrating and got the 12.30 am home out of Lime Street ( there were late trains from the North in those days) . Happy days
got free tickets to get in the the ground as a gesture from the directors.
We won 2.1 with David Whyte netting the winner about 5 minutes from time.
Blinding chip shop across the road though, cod, chips, mushy peas and gravy!!
We then drove to Huddersfield via Halifax to go nightclubbing(still can`t work out why)
I think it was the only time we won in the white/green shirts and for some reason we wore red shorts. The award for man of the match that season was a mountain bike which was presented pitch-side at the final whistle. Cue a very silly Burnley player attempting to ride it across the pitch towards the tunnel.
Think we lost 4-1 (Leaburn might've scored). Weren't very many of them or us.
