Elliot - 5 Francis - 4 - usually the only positive is that he gets forward well but didn't manage that last night Dailly - 4 - well off the boil Fortune - 6 - didn't do much wrong from where I was standing Jackson - 5 Martin - 4 - puts in the effort but has no end product at all. McCormack - 5 - want to see more of Mac, didn't think he had a bad game and made some forward runs. Semedo - 5 - tried to no avail Racon - 4 - doesn't really seem to get anyway, needs to try going forwards Reid - 4 - largely anonymous Benson - 5 - no service at all, he's in the wrong team, can't be blamed

They all get a collective 4points from me, Swindon are not that good but the effort they put in is something our player should be thinking about this morning.
That's not a bad call, CK. They were all horribly sub-standard, so deciding who gets 3.5 and who gets 4.5 is a bit like rearranging the deck-chairs on the Titanic, isn't it?
Give 'em all 4 across the board and don't waste time trying to calculate slide-rule gradations of awfulness.
Elliot - 7 - Little cover from (so called) defence Francis - 5 - poor touch at time - how does he continue to be selected? Dailly - 3 - Terrible decision with their 2nd - looks tired Fortune - 6 - Didn't do anything wrong but slow. Jackson - 6 - Tried hard - needs to be on left forward Martin - 5 - Talented but no end result... McCormack - 5 - tried but untested in this position Semedo - 6 - Did what he could Racon - 6 - Again - tried hard but let down around him & few wayward passes. Reid - 5 - confidence? Benson - 6- No support from invisible midfield. Wagstaff - 5 - Put the effort in - if only he had some of Martin's skill. n/a Sodje - 5 - We need his physicality when Anyinsah is not playing. Should have started. Abbott 5 Good goal - some poor passes. Disinterested.
Parkinson - 3. No strategy, poor starting formation, no midfield, no tactics for changing approach, no passion, no idea, hopefully no job...
Elliot 5 handling & distribution poor Francis 0 his bad attempted 'clearance' led to their equaliser - part of another inept display Dailly 5 why is a centre-half needing to act as play-maker? Fortune 5 Jackson 6 Martin 3 McCormack 1 Semedo 4 Racon 4 Reid 1 Benson 2
Elliot 6 - Made a few decent saves, but Ultimately did concede four goals Francis 3 - Sloppy passes, average crosses, once again didn't have a great game. Jenkinson?? Dailly 5 - Made one huge mistake, but he still was our best defender I feel Fortune 5 - Almost as good as Dailly last night, but I wish he wasn't so slow Jackson 6 - Scored the goal, wanted to make something happen, just a shame most of the other players barely tried Martin 4 - Sloppy passes, tried the clever stuff rather than the simple, I think he would be better as a super sub to run at the tired defenders McCormack 4 - made a couple of poor decisions, like when he should have passed to Reid and waited to long to inevitably get tackled Semedo 5 - made good challenges, but if only he would shoot once in a while, also never really stood out Racon 6 - good first half display, good passes, did well for the first goal, second half though the passes weren't as good Reid 4 - despite playing the whole match, he never really got going Benson 5 - wasn't able to be involved enough in the match, because of poor service from Martin, Francis and Reid
Wagstaff 3 - didn't make any impact at all and can't take the ball past any players, poor game Abbott 2 - Rubbish touch, Rubbish passes, Rubbish signing. He never looked like scoring, though somehow he did score a goal n/a Sodje
Elliot - 5.5 Could he have held the first shot for goal no.1? Francis - 5 Didn't think he did too much wrong defensively. 4-3-3 allowed their left back to get space to cross for the 1st goal. Francis was tracking his man. Like his teamates, showed very little quality coming forward and in the home games we need our full backs to do the business. Dailly - 5.5 Made a bad error but at least tried to drive us on. Was exposed late on without Fortune or Doc to help against the set pieces. Fortune - 6 Made three excellent clearances from our box first half. Not to blame and even helped in build up to 1st goal. Jackson - 5 Does his best at left back and at least gave Reid plenty of ball. Even he will be amazed at his goal run. Perhaps we should bung him up front! Martin - 3 Looked a poor player. Never doubted his effort but he's not what we need right now. McCormack - 3 His first three touches set the tone. Unsure of his role. Semedo - 5 Tried and tried but has very little drive to his game. Towards the end of last season he was driving forward as well as doing the dirty work (bit like a Parker) but not now. Racon - 5 Looked the best on the ball but there was no end product. Reid - 3.5 Never looked like creating anything. Benson - 4 Was totally dominated but playing him as a lone striker (with no service) doesn't work.
Wagstaff - 2 The opposite of an impact sub. His one chance to cross saw him wait for the full back to close him down and then lay the ball back to Francis. Where's the drive? Abbott - 2 Great goal and I thought (before the game) that he was a bit unlucky to be sub again but the man is clearly shit scared of playing at home. Up there with a Mike Small performance I'm afraid. Shame. n/a Sodje
(went to game)
Elliot 5.5
Francis 4
Dailly 5.5 Only the error that really spoilt it. He at least tried to bring the ball out constructively.
Fortune 5 The only other player to spend any time on the ball, repeatedly prior to lumping it 50 yards to our brave, towering strike force!
Jackson 6 Hope I haven't been too swayed by the goal but he seemed to do ok.
Martin 3 Failed yet again to deliver, pretty much anything at all. Will he ever cut out the unnecessary flicks to no-one in particular & just produce soething more useful? Doubt it
McCormack 2 (even without the Twitter debacle) Last week I almost posted that I thought he might play a big part later in the season! Why on Earth was he pushed forward into a position Parky couldn't squeeze Jonjo into?
Semedo 4 A few useful interceptions didn't mask his usual inability to make a useful positive pass. He's a defender in midfielder's clothing.
Racon 5 Did try to get things going but too often failed to create or to unsettle Swindon
Reid 4.5 Pleased to see him back but didn't manage much with the nonsense he was given to chase. Oh for a pass in BEHIND the full back for him to run onto.
Benson 4.5 Similar to the service Reid got & at least he tried. Why buy a poacher and leave him stranded with 50 yard punts? That "tactic" finally snapped my patience with Parky
Thought Waggy looked a lot more threatening than most and brought a bit of verve. Not so Abbott, despite a well taken goal. The odd nice touch just isn't enough.
Surely the worst set of marks EVER for any Charlton team since we've been doing this. Hate to think what these embarrasing marks will average out at when LL crunches the numbers.
Don't know what the players were thinking. They must have known their manager was under pressure to deliver a result to the new owners and that his job was on the line. And they certainly didn't go out on the Valley pitch and die for him, did they? More concerned about tucking in at the Oxo Tower later ...
