If all else fails I will be on the pitch at 6 in the morning with a battery powered hairdryer. All those who wish to join are welcome.
That BBC weather forecast changes completely.Ive just taken two days leave based on Sundays forecast as Im working away from home, got home tonight (Scotland)and the forecast heavy snow has evaporated! Also spent pleasant night sleeping in the back of my people carrier in Yorkshire due to "no room in the inn!" Informed it dipped to -12 made sure i booked early for next night!
Desperate for the game to be on.......back in the country for 8 days (supposed to be 12, so already been stuffed by the snow). Just seen on Sky sports these lamps for thawing out the ground, look like the kinda thing you'd use at a carvery to keep the meat warm!
Sorry to be depressing and, with a clutch of tkts for the entire family who can seldom all go together other than at Xmas, I desperately want the game to be on as much as anyone.
But BBC/Met Office now predicts -3 for SE7 on Sat night so difficult to see how the pitch will not still be frozen dangerously hard at Sunday lunchtime.
I fear the question is probably when they call it off, not if... do they do it on Xmas day or leave a final decision to Sunday morning?
Hope I'm wrong. But I've already warned the family our Boxing Day outing is likely to be a tramp across the Ashdown Forest rather than football.

I know of one regular poster on here who is a paid employee of the club - if he were to post this, I would take it as gospel.
Ill join ya!
Are you sure you've been looking at a weather forecast for England? The weather is going to be absolutely dire all week.
I highly doubt that.
SE9 from BBC :
Tues - light snow - max 1 min 0
Weds - mist - max 1 min -1
Thurs - cloud - max 2 min 0
Frid - cloud - max 2 min -3
Sat - sunny - max 1 min -4
doesn't look too bad to me
How is she enjoying Hull?
It'll be on .........I've heard the new manager is going to install flame throwers in the dressing room for his half time talk.

Different daughter.
Her older sister was at Hull (Scarborough campus) and finished a few years back. She loved it up there.
