[cite]Posted By: mparsons1[/cite]seems that the people are buying their way to priority, if i had a spare 2k id buy a 5 year season ticket but cant so go regularly away
would not suprise me if these 5 year season ticket holders dont go away at all and nick tickets of the fans that go regularly
no doubt they will get priority if we get in the play offs as well
would like to see a point system will be fairer imo
You choose to spend your money on away tickets, travel and booze. Your choice. I save and buy annual season tickets my choice.
Like you I would have got a 5 year ticket if I could have afforded to but i couldn't.
[cite]Posted By: mparsons1[/cite]agree with CafcAndy the 5 year season ticket has nothing to do with away games
League away games therefore have nothing to do with the F A Cup then by the same token?, there surely has to be SOME benefit of stumping up for a 5 yr season ticket at a time when the club needed the money most. I could've bought one but chose not to.
Spurs will be my first away game of the season, yes I've got a ticket, had a ST every season for 30+ years (I'm 36 now) and in my late teens/early twentys did a fair few seasons of every game home/away, it's not so much finances now that dictate it for me, but family and kids.....at my last count I was somewhere around the 65 ground mark
Normally do 2 or 3 aways a season and try and turn at least one of them into a weekend. I don't feel remotely guilty about getting a Spurs ticket over someone without a season ticket who might have done every away game so far. However the system was worked out it would NEVER please everyone.
Not quite sure how much fairer the club could've done it this time to be honest, seems to me a fair bit was learnt from the Swindon play off game.
Can anybody tell me where exactly on Anchor and Hope Lane the valley away coach stop is?
is it the one outside makro or further down?
looking to go to colchester but the trains are being annoying
Got 4 Colchester tickets to swell our numbers.....we "should" be taking a couple of thousand to this, but somehow I doubt it...the new slip road is apparently open too
[cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]bit much to expect to a couple of thousand TEL what with the train problems
Im sure that if anyone is stuck for a lift, there will be people willing to do a pick up.....Ive got room for one more...going from Dartford tunnel via Romford to collect two mates...
Can't wait to go to the Spurs game. It will be my first away game in about 10-15 years.
Does anyone know if we have our own section or are we just in with the Spurs fans? Also, anyone know what the food is like at Spurs? I'm guessing that as they're a Premier League team the standard will be better. Do they have a decent wine list?
Are they all Charlton nolly? Or are there a few hangers on?
I'm bringing along two non-Charlton mates. Initially thought I'd struggle to get tickets, but it was pretty easy - just went down there and bought some.
Shame really got a mate who went to both fa cup games this year Barnet and Luton and was at Brighton last night and will be at Colchester couldnt get a ticket for the Spurs game shame when non charlton fan are going to the game, this not a rant just bit annoyed couldnt get him a ticket in the end

begs the question - why could he not get a ticket ?
[cite]Posted By: nolly[/cite]offy tbh two of them are proper charlton who just dont get down there mate, the rest are allsorts but will be charlton come next sunday
Best keep quiet about that mate - there's a few on here that might not like that. Thought I was pushing it a bit with two. But then all proper Charlton who wanted to go would have got themselves tickets anyway, so am not that bothered really.

Anyone who went to 5 away games had the same priority as 5yr ST's anyway, so there was no conflict.

Weighing up weather to do this one or Soton can prob only afford to one of them.

Agreed, think they'll be a decent walk up for this with people being at home all xmas and wanting a bit of football.
i had £295 quid burning a hole in my pocket so thought i might aswell get the tickets before i get carried away xmas eve!

Might be worth starting a thread
