If we could literally take anybody, Rochdale’s Craig Dawson would be an outstanding signing. Made his debut last year as a teenager and still a bit raw, but destined to play at the highest level. Unfortunately, West Brom bought him in August and loaned him back for the season so it’s too late. By the way, he’s a real threat at corners and will need to be well marked on Saturday.
Dawson’s team mate Chris O’Grady might make a very good value signing. Not that well known and playing in a side that is finding the Division hard work, he nevertheless looks a very good player.
Really haven't seen many opposition players at the Valley who are appreciably better than what we've got. Which is why anything less than automatic promotion will be a failure on Parkinson's part.
I guess Kish would probably be top of my list in the short-term to get promotion - but as he will be 37 before next season, he's probably past playing in the championship in 2011-12, for Brighton or for anyone else.
Looking for young talents who might be able to make it in the championship is much harder. For his age, I haven't really seen many who are more promising than our own Scott Wagstaff.

Still scoring goals regularly despite injury problems and playing in a pish team
Same equation in my head but the 7 years Austin has on Lambert swung it for me
Austin's only got one more League goal than Benson/Jackson, but I'd take him. Lambert's in terrible form according to Saints fans.
Lallana
Austin
Calderon

He's gorgeous.
Pilkington at Huddersfield is the best player I've seen over the last 14 months at this level though

I wonder if any Charlton players would get mentioned if this question was asked another forum?
