Knew you wouldn't be able to resist the urge to slag him off for long : - )

well as a goalkeeping expert, i keep seeing the ball fly past him from distance and his positioning /footwork isn't that great ..... i'll give him last nights but saturdays wasn't good .... but i'll stay +ive whilst winning but not drawing !!

  • Elliot - 6 Not a lot to do. No chance with goal
Francis - 6.5 competent. Looked more confident with Waggy in front of him
Doherty - 7.5 Solid and some decent long passes in the second half
Fry - 7 Decent game. I like him
Fortune - 7 More like the old Jon.
Jackson - 7 within a whisker of scoring at the far post in the first half.
Semedo - 7 Just hope his injury is not bad
Wagstaff - 6.5 worked hard. A few good things (shot in the 2nd half) but possibly still suffering the effects of his illness
Racon - 7 Didn't go missing tried to drive us on
Martin - 7 I think the knock on the head affected him
Benson - 7 Good movement as usual. Thwarted by an outstanding save before his goal.

McCormack - 6 ok but not Semedo
N/A Reid - 6.5 stretched them when he came on with his pace
N/A Sodje - 7 A handful and troubled their defence more in the short time he was on than Martin did despite his undoubted hard work.

  • Oooah being harsh on Elliott again, surprise surprise. The ball was well hit, came through a big group of players, saw it late, little chance. The bigger issue would have been the first on Saturday, which for me got in a bit cheaply

  • Elliot - 6 - Nothing to do other than pick the ball out the net
Francis - 6.5 - Was having a reall good game, other than a 20min spell in 2nd when lost the plot with all the high balls
Doherty - 6 - Steady eddy, got lucky with a few mis placed passes, great head but rarely gets to a charlton player
Fry - 5.5 - Silly yellow, although atleast he's got the ban out the way for the cup
Fortune - 5.5 - Cant wait till Dailys back, looked shaky and awful on the turn
Jackson - 6 - looked better at LB than LM, looked a bit tired
    Semedo - 6.5 - Solid 'Semedo' performance
Wagstaff - 6 - Looked little off the pace and crossing not great but works v well with francis and brings the best out in him
Racon - 7.5 - Best player in pitch by a country mile, we all questioned whether he could maintain this level, well he has for the past 6 games in a row!
Martin - 6.5 - Causes mayhem with his direct running and tricks, but not a lot of end product, some poor decisions up top better out wide
Benson - 6.5 - quitest game for a while hasn't 'clicked' wiht the unpredictable martin

McCormack - 6.5 - Looked all action midfielder
N/A Reid - 6 - His pace helped stretch the game, looked a threat
N/A Sodje - 7 - Another game completly changed by him comin on, looked real handfull and deff lost a lot of weight, possibly the fittest he's been since he joined?
