If you look at some other results im not that bothered to be honest. Obviously we could do without the extra game but its a clean sheet, Brighton drew with Woking, Peterborough with Stockport and Gillingham lost to Dover so its not as if we're the headline this year.

I assumed you were at the game with a Blackberry in hand ?

Nah sorry to disappoint..I listened to the game live and typed what I heard as quickly as I could...I'm a one-fingered typer!! Sometimes it took ages to upload...but if I can keep those who cant hear the game updated on whats happening then I'm happy to do so.
It's not that we didn't create chances ....... but unlike at Carlisle and Swindon, we didn't make them count.
Just one taken early on when we were more dominant could have changed the game.
Still credit to Barnet. After a lousy start to their season, this was a bit of a cup final for them and potentially a famous scalp.
They would have been well fired up, especially in that 2nd half, charging down their famous sloping pitch.
1465 Barnet fans and 1219 Charlton fans there today.
Looking forward to the replay, although we havn't won away all season and before that since March so like today I will go into it expecting a Charlton goalfest. Thought it was a decent game for a nil nil, both teams had some good chances especially you lot. We showed more fight and battle than we have for a long long time, and somehow held on against all your second half attacks. Grant Basey, what a player, cheers for that!

Glad to hear he's doing well because I always liked him as a player. He'd been with us since he was about eight or something. He gave a nice interview before the match, which you probably read on your website, and he won't ever let anyone down. A really wholehearted player, who makes the most of his ability.
But tell us - do you think he has a problem with a lack of pace? There were a lot of people used to say so on here, although I always thought that was somewhat overstated. He wasn't Usain Bolt but he'd leave most of us trailing in his wake. And he seemed to cope today!
He got injured again during his first game and so today was only his second game since returning from his injury. Didn't seem slow today to be honest, but then next to Anwar Uddin (the other centre back, who you may have noticed is v v slow) no one would. Definitely made a big difference today, seemed very assured. Big step up on what we've been used to as centre backs this season anyway. Did you play him at LB or CB?

It now means that between Shef Wed last Sat and Bristol Rovers on Nov 23, we are required to play eight games in 24 days.
Top performance and very useful, nice one mate.
Well done Robbie.

Perhaps, if they had to play 8 games in 24 hours I might have some sympathy!.
What is it with Charlton and cup games!
Sounded like Red Midland was the best Charlton 'player' today well done mate! and thanks for the updates.

We really don't need this extra game.
Yeah, it's not if we've just drawn away to Man Ure or Chel$ki - and The Valley would be a full with a terrific atmosphere for the replay.
Not a dire performance, but pretty painful to be honest. Seem to be having pretty poor luck with the games I choose of late.
At least we are not out
Has Marseille worn you down? Where's the cheeriness gone? ;-)
Could have been worse....
At the moment it seems to be no Anyinsah = no threat. Abbot is hopeless. Couple of beers were about as good as it got.
And he had plenty to do in that 2nd half.

That's the Cup for you!
Nope. Probably just need my dinner, Weegie.

I thought Abbott hit the bar .....?
Never seen anyone write that before .....!
Cultured left foot, though. Just not the quickest.

Was that a full strength team you had out?
