I think I'm due a spell of glory hunting. I'd probably latch onto Man City on the grounds that they haven't won anything for a while and I could kid myself that I was some kind of dyed in the wool blue, in the way that many of their current support and Chelsea fans have. It'd be brilliant, supporting a team without any of the usual pain and worry.
wouldnt support anyone ,play more golf and go to a few other games around london ,but please note not the spanners would never go and watch millwall oh no the thought of it .
Slough Town - the first team I regularly went to see. I also sat next to the managers daughter at school in the 60s. I yearned for her mightily.
Still try and see them at least once a year and after Charlton look for their results in the paper, although they're usually hard to find.
No idea, orient would probably be my only option as I went to a fair few of their games when charlton were playing massive aways midweek especially, or not playing, as I come from the area. But it was always a "recreation", going to games that essentially didn't matter and could be enjoyed - far from the sentiment of truly supporting a club!
If charlton went bust tomorrow I think I'd just be an armchair fan, catching games at all levels when the opportunity arose, make sure i've done the 92 and put more effort and money into my englandfans membership. I couldn't be a proper 'fan' of any other club, though I do have interests and follow the results/fortunes of other clubs.
If the situation was that Charlton did not ever exist then in all honesty i would most probably support West Ham. Or Spurs. Both London clubs with a massive fanbase and history. But not one of the top four teams, well not before 2010 anyway.
I dont think millwall would appeal to me even though they are closer. Thier repuation is enough to repel anyone with half an ounce of decency. Nor palarse as they are just plain boring.
But that all is a mere thought. Charlton till i die .
Hard to say, I'd either start following The Baggies, Kiddy Harriers, do some glory hunting with Arsenal, or just give up all together and start watching Rugby or something.

But you wouldnt follow any1 at all?
I agree i would have no passion for any other club EVER! but i still would follow.
Good choice mate actually.
I might do the 92 or go and support A.N.Other Utd v Palace but could never support another league team.

That would be me and football finished for good.
So I guess wherever the orange, handsome toothed, shy and retiring pillock ends up next.

Wrexham?
Exeter City (used to live round the corner from the other SJP).
