Wouldn't say it's part of the managers job to watch the match. More the fact of watching the players in the match. Jackett weren't there for entertainment was he. As sparrows said they lack pace on the left. Kj will know this isn't millwalls strongest part of the pitch so reidy more than likely caught his eye last night. How will your fans feel if you was to sign ex 'vermin' as your some of your fans like to call them sparrows
and Parky was watching from the stands. Who did he go there to watch. And Ray Lewington, Fulham coach, was there. Watching Elliott for when Scwarhzer (sp) leaves Fulham I've been reliably informed.

Wouldn't have thought it would be a problem at all him being ex-vermin. Spent 4 years there doing nothing, he is hardly a hammer through & through! Remember we had Glen Johnson on loan and the crowd took to him, we even had Tony Cottee at one point! If he did the business then it'd be fine. Bit different if it was Freddy Sears (another rumoured signing).
I bumped into Alan Curbishley outside MK's old ground (the hockey stadium) a few years ago, prior to a game between MK Dons and Nottm Forest. I asked him if he was there to watch Andy Reid. "No, I am just here to watch a game of football", he said.
So I think even if anyone had actually asked Kenny Jackett what he was there for, he wouldn't have said. Probably.
Phil Parkinson was at the Eastbourne Borough vs Rushden and Diamonds match last week, Im guessing he was there to watch Yado Mambo but maybe looking at someone in the lower leagues
There is no chance he would have gone to the match just because it was closest. He's probably got an eye on one or two that were to be playing and if Reid wasn't one, he likely will be monitored now. Doesn't mean he'll bid for any and i'm confident that Millwall would not bid enough to make it worth our while on the basis that Reid is our best chance ogf getting out of this division. Fortune / Doherty ? Wouldn't want Fortune to go but can't see how we can keep both Doherty and Daily. I reckon when we signed Doherty, we thought Daily was off like when we signed Holland when we thought Parker was off. Doherty came off at half time as well. Could well be 2 and 2 equals 5 but plausible as cover / experience for them.

Ray Lewington was there to watch his son im guessing... Jackett was probably there scouting Reid/Semedo don't really know too much about the dons players.. wouldn't worry to much i don't think wall have much money :)
I'm sure I noticed him grabbing Waggy at edge of the pitch when the winner went in, he just couldn't help himself and wanted to get back in with his old covered end/west side clock muckers. CAFC for life old Kenny, remember him getting in a few scrapes when running with the BMOB back in the day. Top Boy old Kenny the blade.

Maybe but Fortune only has a deal until Christmas. Parky always said he wanted 4 centre backs, got by with 3 last season but managed to get 4 together this year. Fry is cover mainly for left back and Mambo doesn't was always going to go out on loan at some point.
What rediculas about the thread. Jackett was at the match. Probably not because he just wanted to watch a game. Reidys performance most certainly caught his eye even if he weren't there to see him in the 1st place. Simples
Can't see he needs to strengthen his wide players. He's got four very good wingers in Schofield, Henry, Hackett and Barron (whom he plays often at fb). Both Carter and Abdou can do a job as a tight inside left'right player. He desperately needs another reliable central midfielder, as when Trotter carries an injury he has no other real alternative; bar Carter who I think was injured for a few weeks. He also needs decent full backs, or at least to play Jack Smith there.

As for Charlton, dare I say it- Semedo and Racon are out of contract at end of season so it could be one of them.
common sense?
