Spotted last night on the cameras. Can only think of one player he would have been watching. Our wing wizard reidy. Millwall fans have spoke alot of them not replacing Dave martin since he left. Come january would we let him go for a reasonable fee. I wouldn't but murray might. Not sure if there fans would appreciate ex west ham playin at there club

I'm sure he'll notice Reid, but it means nothing at the moment. A lot of managers will notice Reid this season, as they will any other player that has a good game on the day.
Even if he ever did sign for Millwall, they'd have to beat other clubs to him I'm sure.
Agree with Scoham and just to add one more thing: come January sadly we'd have to let any of our players go for a reasonable fee.
would think that will depend on our league position come the New Year.
He could have watched a lot more games rather than ours last night. Not the most exciting of games to go and watch. Reason i said he may have been looking at reidy is purely because there always banging on about there left mid gap hasnt been filled since martin left. With reidy starting to hit fine form, got a feeling jackett has his eye on him.
Did we let Andy reid go in the jan market or summer ??
There are other good wingers out there. He could just be one of the players he is considering.
He probably had other staff watching some of the other JPT games, just as we probably did.

Won't have to let any players go - it's Richard murray's call and unless it's in our interests - i.e ridiculous money (which it won't be) then i can't see him de railing any chance we have at Xmas. No way jackett would have been there just to watch a game and of all the players on show, Reid or the centre half for MK Dons (mixed race / half black or whatever the PC thing is) i would imagine might interest him.
Of course it is Richard Murray's call, but are we really in a position to turn down bids of £500k (plucked that figure out of the air) for any of our players?
And Jackett could have been there just to watch a game - of all the JPT games last night it was probably an easy one for him to get to, and besides Huddersfield v Peterborough (a lot further away) was probably the tie with the best teams based on league position. Maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that he wasn't there to see Reid to make me feel a bit better though!
Wasn't confirmed.
Though as Sheff Utd have a sell on clause (confirmed on their OS at the time, not ours), I'd imagine it's 2 possibly 3. Other players got 2 year deals, and with Reid considered one of our biggest signings I can't imagine it was only 1. Well, I hope it wasn't.
1/ They are a shit club with no money for signings.
2/ Why would he want to sign for them, he will get better offers from much better clubs.
I suspect last nights game was probably the closest one for Jackett wherever he lives (maybe still near Watford?)
Spot on.
Phil Parkinson was at Arsenal Reserves verus Blackpool Reserves a week or so ago. FACT
It's all part of the job.
They were linked with Lee Cook who worked with Jackett at QPR ( who is injured surprise / surprise ) so could still be in for a wide left wingman.
If they had really wanted Reidy why did they not try for him in the summer when he was on a free , or did they and he choose to come to Charlton.
Reid I'd be happy with too, seriously lack pace on the wings.
How much do you buy him for and what would be a "reasonable" fee?
I've heard this too.
Bailey, a far more established, scouted and successful player went for £1.4m.
Reid, an unknown, unproven player, in a team floundering in mid table, signed on a free transfer...I reckon 600k tops.
Maybe 350k and we'll throw in Lewis Grabban too. Deal?
