Oh right not good but I doubt they will have spotters out looking for you's at games now. Just put it down to experience. It happens to many people it always has done and always will do. Its not that police are getting more forceful, they have been treating people like this since i was 13. Just laugh about it.
  • some of the posters here taking the michael out of nathan like there some kind of forum mafia members,in reality this forum is there only place to shine. lol
  • Blackpool 1972, last game of the season, got beat 5-0, got relegated, got arrested, all 50 of us, still don't know why, just some jumped up copper trying to make himself look hard...

Nothing ever came of it, might still be on FBI most wanted list for all I know...

    Nothing changes, never will...

no one is suggesting that though, are they?
No no one is suggesting it I'd just like to get an idea!
  • [cite]Posted By: 1 light[/cite]Henry/leroy,I no some of the so called high risk supports and they are good people some have kids now, they work hard all wk and some weekends to support there familys so just because they go to watch charlton play with mates and likes a few beers and a laugh there morons, there not. Believe me I no excatly how police work and alot more police are morons than these high risk supporters. E.G Saints away last season alot of people in the pub mainly charlton supporters,at half 1 Cafc police spotters walk in and say to everyone "everyone has to leave here within 5 mins or we'll section 27 everyone",lad goes up to top OB there to ask him about it and he says to the lad that he never mentioned section 27 to Cafc spotter so he must be lying then he has words with him n tells him not to lie. That's good of the OB to lie isn't it.
No offence, but it might be better if next time they got someone who could spell, construct a sentence and post a coherent argument to defend them.

Yep - sounds like a plan. Meet someone who obviously thinks that violence is acceptable, is an apologist for it and is therefore likely to be a damn sight handier with his fists than me. Any more bright suggestions? Stepping out into motorway traffic? Sitting in a bath full of water and dropping a plugged-in toaster in? Standing on a golf course holding an umbrella during a thunderstorm?

Because, of course, the fact that they could probably smear my nut all round the North Upper clearly makes them a 'winner' in the argument.
  • [cite]Posted By: CafcAndy[/cite]Can i just say. This bottle was aimed at the empty bottle cage underneath the bar. I see who exactly who it was because it nearly hit us. It's was someone going for a long shot to the bin not throwing it at a barmaid.
So we can rule out Phil Taylor then?

  • Just to clear up a point raised earlier on this Thread, I can confirm that all fans are Categorised by their local constabulary with a level of Risk & indeed our level was elevated a few years back now.

I was tempted to write the same thing.
  • Classy you two.

Heres hoping you never actually need them.

Perhaps now everyone can stop making up their stories about how they (don't) know our risk level

So you and your group are so totally outraged by your unfair treatment......... and yet it's too much hassle to do anything about it.

Excuse me if I don't feel any sympathy for you on this matter.

Complain and act or shut up and accept.

Have you not dealt with police at football before?

Sometimes you have to go against what you feel is right for the long term benefit. Whilst I'm not suggesting these chaps are regulars away and drink in known pubs at home games, it could well lead to your spotter being more nosey and arsey than before.

Your spotter has already grassed these lads up when it wasn't them and one was in the toilet at the time. Who's to say what more bullshit they could concoct.

There's only one way to decide this - FIGHT! I reckon they should meet up, 1 Light could use his fists and Leroy could speak in an educated way using long words with correct punctuation and grammer to reinforce his arguement, it would be an interesting bout!! :o)
  • I don't want to fight anyone just putting my point across. OB have hassled me a couple of times because I was seen talking to the high risk supporters as they say,so I complained to someone high up and he told me they shouldn't hassle people. Now they never hassle me because of that. I go to every home game and most away games. If I can't spell every word correctly Leroy it doesn't mean I don't no what I'm talking about. If people complained more then the OB wouldn't keep getting away it.

According to many "it happens to everyone". So it may surprise them to know that in 60 odd years as a football regular I've never had the need to "deal" with the police at a football match. Unless you count taking my daughter over to see the horses.

However, I do know that there are organisations to complain to if you feel you have been unfairly treated by the police. You don't have to kick up a fuss at the time, you can do it calmly later, to an independent person. Which I would do if I had been so clearly unfairly treated as to be convicted of something when I wasn't at the scene at the time.

The fact that this gentleman states it will: "will make them look at our names more closely" leads me to think there is something to find which it what has stopped taking the matter further, rather than an irrational fear that they will make up other "bullshit".
