[cite]Posted By: Mike[/cite]why have we sold so little for this hmmmm we boycotting it or something?
Where do I start......
Well it is school holidays
Night games are difficult to get home from (see above)
Live on SKY
This isn't a new ground
Two away games on the spin
£22 (I think) is a bit steep in todays climate for a third tier fixture
Plenty of charlton fans know orient friends and will be in home end
Still the cricket season
World cup hangover
Plenty more reasons , feel free to add:-)
i will be there but correct me if im wrong but didnt we take 3000 around this time last year? this will be the closest to a local rival we have this year
yeah 3,000 last year, around 1,500 this imo. Last year it was a new ground for many and wasn't on Sky. I'd rather to to Shrewsbury where I havn't been before and give Orient a miss and watch on Sky. Can't afford to do both.
It's mainly because it's on TV. I went last year and I've had gone again but not if it's on TV. It's already £40 a month for Sky, we're not interested in paying another £40 for tickets.
Don't think it's got anything to do with holiday season. We played them on the 18th last year and on a Tuesday. It's purely the fact it's on tv why numbers will drop. Still I'm gonna go. Would rather be there.
I'm not going purely because it's £22 and it's on tv. Blame Sky, don't blame me, i'd rather save my money for a future saturday away game which is more of a day out than getting a sweaty tube across London after work.

this.
the only reason I'm not going is cause it's on sky.
Im a bit miffed as want to go and would be taking a couple of non Charlton mates but really cant make a decision until on the day (babysitting issues).
So basically cant go as tickets are sent back on Thursday and not available on the night, grr.
90% confident I can go but not flogging out £66 in case I cant.

I'm pretty certain there will be a turnstile open on the night - can't see the Os turning down the opportunity of some extra cash

I would'nt go back with them afterwards then
We have sold 700 tickets roughly
How many did we take to southend last year does anyone know?

I did yes
Undecided on whether to stay in the City or not. That pub by the ground was rubbish last year and we ended up drinking cans outside.
1200 instead of 3000 might make a difference though.

the stands holds 3000 after all...
The whole 'not available on the night' palarva is purely a scare to get people to buy in advance IMO.
