[cite]Posted By: ISawLeaburnScore[/cite]
[cite]Posted By: Richard J[/cite]Just googled Pape ( and not Papa) Gueye and he is a young Bordeuax Striker.
I think it is more likely to be him
Fair play! Thought the other bloke sounded too good!
Pape must be really obscure. He doesnt even have a Wiki entry!
Not convinced that this Pape is any of the one's identified so far. If he is a highly rated young striker that we are genuinely interested in, why isnt he starting?
Pretty dire to be honest. We finally managed to get going in the last 5 minutes. Not sure of everyone who was playing.Game was played in the middle of a caravan site. Francis didn't do too much wrong but still looks 2 or 3 weeks away to me Fortune looked way off the pace, came off with cramp Llera still row zeding it,glad i didn't have a caravan parked outside. Davissonn and stav did plenty of running around, mainly chasing the balls they'd just given away. Tuna. The most dissappointing participant for me.Didn't look interested. Not sure of which trialist was which, but the white fella that played right mid was pony.Didn't look liike a footballer and was knocking on a bit. Coloured fella on the left was better.Very, very pacy. The five subs that came on were better.Young african forward with his afro tied back looked lively and Topo looked sharp. Considering some of these lads could well be pulling on the shirt this season. It didn't look too bright.
Pretty much agree with above. 16 year old Gough in goal and Llera seemed to hesitate and let the Concorde striker in between them, which lead to Gough tripping him - thought striker made a meal of it to be fair. Penalty was unstoppable. Gough did well apart from that really - made some decent saves and is very vocal. Jenkinson and Francis looked pretty solid. Llera will insist on hoofing long balls up to Tuna and Perkins - neither of which won a ball in the air all game. To be honest we created no chance whatsoever until about 60 minutes, which was disappointing. Morgan Fox did okay when he came on and Tosan Popo seemed to explode into life when he was given the last 10 minutes! He did more in the last 10 minutes that the other strikers did all game. Our midfield seemed to be totally bypassed by long balls from our defence. Overall, Concorde Rangers are a decent team and they played decent football - we were lucky not to lose. No sign of Bauza - has he now gone?
More likely Bauza is signing and Parky didn't want him playing 2 games this week, what with there being 3 next.
Shame about Mulley, I understand we can't take gambles but if that's the case, why take him on trial? Looked impressive to me and a few others, what else could the kid have done?

Bauza has been released...according to Parky yesterday....its on another thread
Surely it can't be THE Papa Gueye? He was one of the best defenders in the world on Football Manager 08/09 (or 09/10 I forgot which). Which means he's one of the best defenders in the world in real life. Obviously.
