  • The debt collecting agency is still counted as a footballing debt, so the embargo remains. They did a deal with sunderland about rescheduling payments. I hope we get the money as we need it for the rebuilding and that elusive consistant goal scorer.

    My point was that the debt may have been factored and that we may have already had the money!

    I think we got £11m - £12 for Bent from £17.5m, so along those lines £300k - £400k.

    That's only because a lump of the bent money went to ipswich.

    Factoring varies but 90 to 95% to my knowledge but then I've only sold quite different types of debts and a while OK.

    I think typical factor fees are 2.5% to 5%. This may have been at the higher end as we are getting the cash up front, and the agency wouldn't be getting it for a year.
