    Brilliant, I'd not spotted this. I think the crappy old car might be shopped in too. I guess a picture of the black sedan in the background didn't fit in with the Mail's view of the town

    Only just seen that photo; but you could be right on that. I remember working with a graphic designer who used to claim the easiest way to try and find a photoshop was anomalies with shadows, it's something that people often overlook.

    In this one...

    -> Shadow underneath the car appears to be entirely underneath the car, so the lighting would have to be directly above the car.
    -> However there are shadows on the windscreen/bonnet which would mean there's light coming from the front of the car.
    -> The cows have no shadows, hence the impression of the front one 'floating', meaning there's no light source.

    A quick google for the photographer shows this isn't really his usual style either.
