I personally thought Germany, and Schweinsteiger in particular, were outstanding so i don't know how you can say they didn't really play that well. Spain have reached the semi's without really playing too well so if they can step up a gear for the semi then it should be a great game.
100% with that. Not quite sure what else they could have done to have played "better" than they did. Early goal helped of course but they have been the team of the tournament by a country mile and Schweinsteiger up there in the top three players too.
Both German wins have been built on nicking an early goal and then countering when the opposition push forward. I'd be really interested to see how they cope with going a goal behind
