i bet that result makes our shower of sh*t feel so much better. I mean they must be so upset-- siting on a beach in 6 star resort counting their £100 k a week !
anyway about that big rumour story the one that lifted off here because there is a agaging order the real big story is that Gerrad is a scouse c**t Rooney is stropy scouse c**t , Terry is a cockney c**t and Heskey a useless c**t but we wont be able to confirm this untill the gagging order is lifted.
The Argentinian players only look good for their clubs because they play with better foreigners :-(
The Argentinian's have no passion and don't try :-(
So that's 2002- failed to get out of the group. 2006 - Quarter Finals. 2010- Quarter finals. They have to just accept that Tevez, Messi and Mascherano aren't good enough and the Argentinians are delusional for thinking so :-(
Or maybe, just maybe, there's more to this tournament football lark than the individual players being good enough, or there being enough passion. What Germany are is a proper team: cultivated and well coached over a period of years, and where everyone knows their jobs and work for each other. They've undone both England and Argentina, who to some extent are both a collection of stars thrown together in a slightly ramshackle way (although Argentina's stars are of course better). I doubt Man United are going to be signing up Klose any time soon, but the Germans have that precious ability to rise to the big occasion when it matters.

i hate maradona such a quality and gifted frootballer who turned in to a drug cheat, the goal against shilton hurt really hurt when i was a kid but i sort of understand why he did it, but to abuse his skills and gift that he was given by taking coke i can not forgive.
Celebration day Henry! I know the Zep have a special place in your heart, personally I liked this that they played the other day...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd60nI4sa9A Robert Johnson- Crossroad
Football and blues, what with Hendrix's 'Fire' previewing ITV's coverage of the world cup a week or so ago. and with Nick Drake's -'Man in a shed' on breakfast tv in the week, about people working in sheds! it has been a good week.
Funny thing I saw in this game, after the second goal went in, they cut to Maradona who was going mental in the techie-area. In the background was Joachim Loew strolling up the line hands in pockets, whistling to himself like the milkman.

9 times out of 10 Gooner I completely disagree with you. But 1 time in 10 you hit the nail on the head and I piss myself.
The funny thing is that Germany didn't really play all that well and still won 4-0 at a canter.
I thought the Germans passing was not as sharp as it was against England and that the Argies more than held their own in the first-half but once that second goal went in then the game was over.
I can see the Germans being too strong for Spain unless the Spaniards can move up a gear, so far the Spanish look like they have not quite clicked for some reason.

I personally thought Germany, and Schweinsteiger in particular, were outstanding so i don't know how you can say they didn't really play that well.
Spain have reached the semi's without really playing too well so if they can step up a gear for the semi then it should be a great game.
