We should almost try a mexican wave of chants i.e. J block and H block always compete what about L block, G block and all the other blocks up in covered end giving it ago.
how about we support the club by singing and shouting loud, forget mexican waves clappers and silly tshirts for a while.oh and if we lose please no staged tears from people looking to get on sky,do it private it shames me.
The North Lower will be game, we keep the old covered end E block / F block spirit alive even though most of you have deserted us and gone above. It's a good little crowd down there.
Although we do we are the E block / we are the F block as well.

I personally think your right. I think when you try and organise things like this it only goes tits up and we all look bellends. I couldnt agree more with your comment re people who cry at football grow up or marry Rupert Murdoch one of the two :-). Also you have to think, football is a place peple go to enjoy theirselves and everyone enjoys themselves in different ways dont they. So its difficult to persuade people to sing if they dont want too, afterall they dont have to sing they have paid for their tickets so can do what they like (within reason).
In answer to your earliar comment im not asking people to sing all the time, but if it means a increase in performance people might decide singing along for more than one song could have a impact. It may have to be crappy paper clappers if all fails.
I've sat in the west stand a couple of times this season and its just to depressing i think the only thing that can be done for them is the clappers, after 2 games i got fed up it was just to boring , so i moved into north upper so that i could sing my heart out and will be doing the same on monday! Been going to games for 6 years now ( im 15) and ive finnally got enough money for a season tkt

I think alot of people share your pain. Clappers could be the only option.
[cite]Posted By: windscreen[/cite]Could be ok for Monday if we only need one goal...sang to the tune of "As long as he needs me" from Oliver.
One goal is all we need
No point of want or greed
If we just take the lead
One goal is all we need
Our Darren Randolph won’t let you score
And if we’re winning we’ll shut the door
So when we take the lead
All you in Jimmy Seed
May just as well concede
One goal is all we need
Now I'm not a singer I find shouting show more passion and more relevance to what's going on on the pitch. However, I beg you DO NOT SING THIS. Leeds started chanting 'We only want one goal' and wat happened, they got a goal - an own goal.
Fate loves a chant like this. Its along ths same lines as slagging off an ex player, it guarantees they score!
On a more serious notes, that song is to long to get people to learn for one game.
I wouldn't worry HT - there is no chance of this getting sung. Too many words and not enough clapping for starters. Fcuk me - some people don't even seem to know the words to "COME ON YOU REDS"!

That, VFR, RRRRRRREEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAARRRMMMYYYYYY and CAFC we hate Millwall/Palace chants from the top of the rafters are all thats needed so yea i agree with you. Agains MKDons the CAFC chant went on for about 15 mins solid that was intense i spose the winning 5-1 heloed there ;-)
Can't wait. Will be making all my phone calls tomorrow on the basis I'll have no voice on Tuesday.
Remember Ipswich second leg play off? The Valley was bouncing for the whole match, and we'll steamroller them with our noise if we're really up for it. It's what being an addick is all about.
Just looking at bagpipe renditions of Mull of Kintyre on youtube i wish they could play a version before and get a slow version of Valley Floyd Road blasting out of the stands just before kick off!!!!Would be brilliant!!!

I like the slow version on "we are Charlton..." - sounded good in the Merlin Friday, I know it's a bit of a rip off of Spurs's slow "oh when the Spurs" but most of our songs are rip-off's anyway !

Good luck getting anyone to join in, once inside the ground the majority of people want to sing at 5463232339mph.
Comments
We are the Upper, we are the Upper, we are the Upper Covered End
We are the Lower, we are the Lower, we are the Lower Covered End.
Although we do we are the E block / we are the F block as well.

I still believe they should give us the jimmy seed stand and give the away dirt east bit.
What ever happens we need;
We are north upper.
We are north lower chant.
Monday. I can't contain my passion to make noise!!!

Got an a-level the next day, so wont get much celebrating time after the game though

This chant doesn't work though ?
Surely it's "we are the upper, we are the upper, we are the upper covered end" ?
Remember Ipswich second leg play off? The Valley was bouncing for the whole match, and we'll steamroller them with our noise if we're really up for it. It's what being an addick is all about.
COYR!
The valley is going to be rocking!!!
We are the upper we are the upper covered end!!
