[cite]Posted By: nth london addick[/cite]i thought bailey was poor at crossing but as he aint a left winger i could accept that

he was all over the park and put in a captains performance no way near wasted as many balls as Racon

I can forgive the odd inaccurate pass, it's the occasional thoughtless stuff that Bailey does that frustrates me. I thought he a Racon were as bad as each other, neither hid but neither exactly stamped their mark on the game and both made too many errors in possession.

fair comment mate you were there so your point is valid to me
  • Randolph-7.5- kept us in the game
Richardson-6- didnt support sam, fairly sound in defence
Sodje-4.5- is he not fit or something? out jumped constantly and kept getting caught out
Dailly-5.5- nothing like his usual standard
Borrowdale-5- poor corners, outfought for first swindon goal
Sam-6- did nithing, mainly because he didnt get any service or support
    Semedo-6.5- decent
Racon-6.5- did okay, a few good touches
Bailey-6- brilliant effort, but otherwise gave the ball away pretty much every time he had the ball
    Burton-6-good bravery, otherwise did nothing
    Mooney-7- good link up play

Forster- no time to do anything. lost the ball a lot
Akpo-no time to influence the game
    Wagstaff- same as above

was so dissapointed with us yesterday

  • Randolph - 7 - some good saves but still don't have 100% confidence in him.
    Richardson - 6
    Sodje - 5
    Dailly - 7
    Borrowdale - 6
    Sam - 4
    Semedo - 8.5 - MoM, brilliant performance.

    Bailey - 8
    Burton - 7
    Mooney - 5

    Forster - 6
    Akpoe - 5
    Wagstaff - 5

    Richardson 6
    Sodje 5
    Dailly 6
    Borrowdale 6.5
    Sam 6.5
    Semedo 7.5
    Racon 7
    Bailey 7.5
    Burton 7.5
    Mooney 5

    Forster 6.5
    Akpoe 5
    Wagstaff 5
  • Randolph 7.5 Some saves that kept us in it
Richardson 6 Seen better of him
Sodje 5 Always rely on him top make a couple of big mistakes a game
    Dailly 7
    Borrowdale 6.5
Sam 7.5 Very much miligned and misunderstood
    Semedo 8
Racon 8 Best we've seen of him this season
Bailey 7 Never in position when played on the left, too often shoots when he should be passing
Burton 7 Too often left us with no-one in the box to pass to
Mooney 6 The maggot just wasn't up to scratch
  • Randolph 7.5 Two great saves and an assist. No fault for the goals
Richardson 6.5 Good game, but failed to get tight for the second goal
Sodje 4.5 Mess of a performance, lunged in twice when he should have stayed calm and goal side. Their forwards won so many high balls it was a
Dailly 5 As above without the stupid lunges.
Borrowdale 6 Got out jumped for the first goal,
Sam 7.5 How anyone is marking him under 5 baffles me. Got up and down well, put tackles in, was constantly doubled up on. For evidence look at how we stopped influencing the game the second he went off.
Semedo 6.5 Not as dominant as usual, had a useful shot.
Racon 7 Some quality touches and a lot of hard work.
Bailey 6 Wandering around quite the thing when we lost the ball for the first goal. Many misplaced passes and crosses with both feet. Wasn't on the left when he should be and that put the rest of the team under pressure -> Borrowdale was bombing up and leaving gaps and strikers didn't have an easy lay off wide left. Still, always dangerous.
Burton 6 Great goal, nowt else
Mooney 5 Too easily bounced off the ball despite some nice touches.
  • From watching on TV

Randolph 8 Couple of great saves, no chance with either goal, and an assist for ours.
    Richardson 6 Can do better
Sodje 6 one goal-saving block, but otherwise struggling
    Dailly 6 Can do better
Borrowdale 5 Poor corners and free kicks, and very weak for their first
Sam 6 Still our most creative outlet
    Semedo 7 Consistent and strong
Racon 5 Can do a lot better
Bailey 5 Apart from hittng the post, did very little other than give the ball away - including for their second
Burton 7 Brave and vital goal
Mooney 5 Can't take the pressure (hardly surprising given the constant flak he gets from our own)

    Forster
    Akpoe
    Wagstaff

Not going to score any of the subs, as didn't feel any of them made an impact - in fact we drifted back out of it in last 15 mins once they came on,

    Burton 6.5 well taken goal.
Mooney 5.5 started well petered out quickly.

Wagstaff 5.5 could have done more Swindon were tiring!
  • At the game, recorded it on Sky+ and watched a few bits back

Randolph - 7 - Some good and important saves
Richardson - 6 - Didn't stand out good or bad to me, can do a lot better though. Usually when Sam's got the ball he'd be overlapping though.
Sodje - 5 - Few good moments, but was poor. Looked injured to me, went down a few times, as others have said a fit Llera is surely better than an unfit Sodje
    Dailly - 6 - Ok
Borrowdale - 5.5 - Usual solid moments, but corners never really threatened (though how many good targets has he got to aim for?) and didn't win the header for the goal
Sam - 5.5 - Didn't really get any crosses in, didn't get back to stop the cross for the first goal, but wasn't terrible. As usual keeps possession. If he can get some space on Monday he will hopefully create something, still more likely to than most
Semedo - 6.5 - Did his job fairly well
Racon - 5.5 - Maybe I'm being harsh again, but he's still not convincing me. Watched back a few bits to see how they looked on TV, he gave the ball away twice before the first goal. Usual decent moments but just not doing enough, Semedo is there to defend, is he playing too cautiously?
Bailey - 6 - Though he did ok, unlucky with his shot, one of the few/only player we had that looked like he might score. Can play a lot better, but as usual plenty of effort and tried to create something
Burton - 6 - Mainly for the goal, watching it back on TV shows how well he did, as the commentary said he kept his eye on the ball and not the goalkeeper
Mooney - 5.5 - Some ok moments, but not the game to be playing him, outmuscled and never really threatened. Won a couple of free kicks though, just shame we had no one on to take them (Reid or Llera surely will if they play Monday)

    Forster - 6 - Did ok
Akpo - 6 - No time to get into it, would have liked to have seen him on earlier. Should consider starting him Monday, he will cause problems and make mistakes along the way. He's a nuisance and that can be effective, he'd have given the Swindon defenders something to worry about that no other striker can offer
Wagstaff - 6 - Can't really say he was poor, but not sure he touched the ball? Would have preferred Reid on, while Sam wasn't good, he was still a threat. Without space, Wagstaff doesn't cause many problems.
  • from the ground

Randolph - 7.5, 2/3 great saves kicking a bit betta not at fault for either goal
Richardson - 6 - Was skinned quite a bit by their winger, got forward well but to no real effect in the end
Sodje - 6 - (5 first half 7 2nd half), looked woefully unfit always the wrong side of their players never in control but put himself on the line with that block
Dailly - 6 - Couple of good interceptions, wasnt in control of their forwards thou
Borrowdale - 5.5 - Prob his worst game for us
Sam - 6 - Marked out of game and we never gave it him when he was free, still our only genuine threat though
Semedo - 7 - Another solid game, good in the tackle great distribution
Racon - 4 - Wasnt up for it atall other than losing posesion didnt see him do much, should have taken out austin for their first
Bailey - 7.5 - pretty poor in first half but looked better when actually stayed out wide, really drove us on in 2nd with his pace/passing/tackling/drive/determination
Burton - 5.5 - Truley woeful first half didnt win a header all night (other than the goal thankfully!!), looked alot betta when mooney came off but missed the best chance of gthe game from 2 yrds pure open goal
Mooney - 4 - I actually like th lad and think theres a good player in their, unfortunatly we looked so much betta without him, he surely cant start on monday

Forster - 6 - Looked good, should have come on bout 55 min when we were massively in control (just before their first)
Akpoe - 6 - Clearly likes to play against swindon, not sure what he does but their defense seemed scared of him
Wagstaff - unfair to mark him as dont think he touched the ball, wierd we didnt utalise his pace and directness and no player in blue tried to find him
