Powell no but Flanagan is right. And yes I know he was an England B international.

    [cite]Posted By: Brunello[/cite]Re No 7

Remember going to this game as it was week day and bunked off school (which was difficult at Eton). Went to Beresfords Sq to get the coach and saw one of my teachers. He asked me what I was doing and told him that I was bunking off to see Charlton play and he replied, thats good, so am I. Cant remeber the scorers though!!!

I thought they did a lot of bunking at places like Eton or is that a myth?
[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]7. Arthur Horsfield, Derek Hales?

    Good guess but not right.

Just from their names you might expect the two players to be more interested in St Patrick's Day.

    Eamon Dunphy?
  • [cite]Posted By: Big William[/cite]3. George Green
    7. Willie O'Sullivan

It was George Green but not O'Sullivan as it was

    Eamon Dunphy?

One of only three goals he scored for us.

The next week we took an estimated 1500 away to Chesterfield to see us get the point we needed to clinch promotion. We lost 2 - 0. Who says our away support was good in the old days. We had 24k at home for the next game v Preston

    Just no. 2 to get

    George Hope?

    Still trying Dave 10/10 for persistence. 0/10 for accuracy : - )
  • 2. Albert GEORGE Uytenbogaart? silly guess but he is the only player who stayed long enough to have a relationshgip whilst playing only six game.
