2, 3 and 7 to get
neither of the scorers for no.7 were called George. The game was played on St Georges Day.
Remember going to this game as it was week day and bunked off school (which was difficult at Eton). Went to Beresfords Sq to get the coach and saw one of my teachers. He asked me what I was doing and told him that I was bunking off to see Charlton play and he replied, thats good, so am I. Cant remeber the scorers though!!!
I thought they did a lot of bunking at places like Eton or is that a myth?
Good guess but not right.
Just from their names you might expect the two players to be more interested in St Patrick's Day.
