All of our full-time players looked REALLY up for it last season didn't they, such as Hudson and Sharon. The loan players argument is flawed - it's nothing to do with whether they're on loan or not, it's whether they're very good at football. Noone had any complaints about Jorge Costa in the past and Darren Ward last season. It was the likes of Keith Gillespie that were bad, because he wasn't very good at kicking a football.
Back to the marking thing for the millionth time (zzzzz), but a 5/10 must be seen as an average performance surely? I'm not sure how a well-reasoned debate against that can be made.
