We were more like 20:1 out-numbered if that was possible. We had the away corner at st Andrews, and they had the rest of the ground. Hairiest of times after the game; remember some of them trying to get the fence down at the half way line on the final whistle. We legged it to the station in the dark without a clue where we were going and got out the train out of New Street before the station had filled up.
You're right the coaches got delayed (can't remember what happened) and ended up arriving around kick-off time. You have a very good memory!
