"Exeter City have paid a transfer fee for a player for the first time in seven years. Stunningly-named Spurs defender Troy Archibald-Henville arrives for an undisclosed fee after two successful loan spells"
Then re-opens for non-Prem clubs from next Monday, 8th Feb until Thursday night 25 March.
only opens again for short term loans though, so no one can go on loan for the rest of the season. We could get Yassin back for the play-offs that way ;-)
Tuna, Mambo and 4 other u18s are on work experience loans, but none of them are pro so probably
on £70-90 a week each. And even then, we could still be paying that.
Bristol Rovers have signed Fulham midfielder Wayne Brown on a one-month loan deal.
Carlisle have picked up Darryl Duffy from Rovers on a three-month loan.
Brentford have extended Tommy Smith's loan from Ipswich and taken John Akinde on loan from Bristol City.
Going on recent displays i think some of our fans would release them on frees. One's not even getting in the team, 2 are useless and the others a cheat.
Worth a laugh from the Beeb transfer day thread: "Sky interview with Steve Bull, talking about 90-year-old Bert Williams. Bull: 'If I get to half that age I'll be happy.' Bull is 45 in March."

LOL
but they will be essential to the team as soon as they are sold : - )

SEVEN years. That'll be us soon.
Wonder if the Teesiders will make a late bid for Lloyd Sam?
Sure, that's a great contingency plan, lol
Each short team loan can be extended though, maximum accumilative period of 93 days.
Come on the Centre Back!!
“I can’t say anything at the moment because nothing has been confirmed but there is still over an hour to go.”
Talking of center backs, that big black fella for Tranmere looked a handfull didn't he.
MOTM for me.
Goodison. Yes he did and agree MOTM. Must be a pal of Burton's from Jamaican national side too.
Anyone else worried that with Moo2 not going but Reid, A Sodje and maybe A N Other coming in we are clocking up more wages we can't really afford?
OK, just me then.
Good physically, absolutely useless with the ball tho.
Also if he played alongside Dailly that would be the oldest pairing in the league.
Not really as McLeod, Sinclair and Omozusi have gone out. Also although they won't earn much didn't Tuna and Mambo go out on loan as well?

Just because they are from the same country doesn't necessarily mean they are mates - JT and Wayne Bridge for example
Has something happened to change that then?
Terry has tried to bridge the gap.

Always cheating. . . .
David Healy joins Keano at Ipswich
Oh no! ...... we haven't missed out on Darryl Duffy, have we?
We still have Shelvey, Racon, Bailey and Sam?
Don't tempt fate : - )
As you know Henry, it's not club policy to sell any player until 5 minutes before the window shuts.
;o)
