Yes I think you're correct Henry...I don't have my Valiant 500 book here at the office. I know there was something strange about it in as much as he qualified by birth to play for both Scotland and England....although I think he may have been born in South Africa as well....talk about confusing!

Played table tennis for Decagon in the Woolwich League but no mention of an international cap in the Valiant 500 but his did play Hockey and Tennis in South Africa.
Still alive and living in Spalding, Lincolnshire as far as I know.
