This has left me wondering if he was the guy I was near to at Southampton a few years back. He did like to abuse pensioners that day.
We dont have that many foul mouth knobs following us.
That was him. I was sat in the home end just by the away end and witnessed it. It was the day we lost 1-0 - their first win at St Mary's.
Well that was the match where it happened.
If he is like that when he drinks and is a puppy when sober may be he should change his habbits.
this thread sits very uneasy with me as i've never seen him acting like people have said.In fact last season when Joe
was mascot at Norwich we ended up travelling home with him on the train,we had a couple of beers on the train and chatted Charlton old & present for a couple of hours. He played games with the kids, and they loved it,in fact Joe did point him out to me at a home game this season, and said what a laugh the train journey was.As I said I have never been in his company or seen him act as has been said above.I'm not saying it didn't happen or defending him, just saying there is a different side to him like MOG said.

Sorry, but as I said earlier Dave (Captain) has been a "True" supporter of CAFC for years.
Yes, after a few "Stella's" hecanbe a pain, like myself, Ian, Pete Leaver and any other supporter I could mention, but, I geniunely believe that he's a nice, funny guy. If he has upset you or someone you know he would be the first to apologise the next time you saw him.
I don't really know why I'm writing this; If you've made your mind up about someone theres not much i can do.
Mine & hispoliticsare as far apart as you can go, but, he is a nice, geniune fella. In My Opinion.
Edit: Ian, as in Ian Crartwight.
Well we are all entitled to our opinions. I think i will wait until i meet him to judge for myself. To be honest im surpirsed i havent met him before seeing as i have been in North Upper at almost every game i can realistically make but i have never sat in Block N (only H or J) so thats probly why.
there are a couple of thousand people in the north upper. I would bet money that you haven't 'met' the majority of them in H or J let alone the rest of the stand. what a silly thing to say.
i don't like this thread either, there are plenty of numpties that support charlton that would divide opinion and a message board isn't the place to discuss a 'character' imo.
