he is irreplaceable as far as our resources go and with 7 points to make up (our goal dif is s**t) i think it could be the final nail in our premiership coffin, still i'm a pessimist, so who knows what might happen
[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]everybody is now reporting this as being reported by the Mirror. With their track record should we believe them. I'd rather wait for official confirmation.
oohaah has a pretty good track record of getting things right Large, not one to just post a rumour.
Am I the only one who thinks this year is a lost cause anyway. We all would like Darren to stay if we went down but know this is not going to happen. However if he has got a bad injury let's hope it's as long term as Matthew Upson's was.Meaning he wouldn't be fit even for the August window and hence no one could sign him.For me personally this would be the ideal situation for us but obviously not for Darren.Just look at Birmingham, they are flying and Upson has been outstanding.(We can all dream can't we).
Personally, i think we will be relegated, but its certainly not a lost cause by any shot of the imagination. We have to get around 22 more points, and hope a club like Wigan and Sheff U pick up just 13-15.
Its possible, but its not solely in our own hands now.
Why would Bent go to training if he couldnt take part & just have to stand there watching? If he was injured surely he'd be with the physio or at home resting?

The physios are based at the training ground. They probably wanted to assess it after letting the swelling go down a little over night.
[cite]Posted By: oohaahmortimer[/cite]nightmare news , just heard darren bent is out for a minimum of 6 weeks and in 4 weeks time we'll find out if it's for the rest of the season, his knee ballooned up after the villa fixture.

And if the BBC are right in saying 4 weeks, then he'll be back for Chelsea and United where his not going to be as much of a threat.
Although with our track record with getting people match fit i'm not too sure how long he will take to get back in the first team
